Mass Effect GMV - Whole World is Watching

Thought I'd give my first GMV style video a go so hopefully it was worth the wait. Plus it's my first time featuring male Shep in a vid. See, I can compromise. :D
Apologies for how long it has been since I've uploaded. Just couldn't seem to put aside the time to make a video and I didn't even think I'd get this vid completed after having so many technical problems while making it. I was eventually able to salvage most of it in the end though so hope you all enjoy. And thanks again to everyone who continues to have any interest in my videos. :)

That's so awesome, wish I knew about WT 10 years ago. :) I've been following them for a few years now and there's just no other band that comes close to the love I have for them. Even going to be flying over to England in about 2 weeks time to go to their concert. :D

herbytree Me neither :) I started listening to them around the time they released The Silent Force, and I've never heard a band that has touched me so deeply. I've seen them twice, and the second time I got to touch Sharon ^^

I would suggest a few improvements (including even putting Synthesis+Thane in there), but overall, wow. Wow. So good! I'm inspired to use this for a fan video sometime this year. I have to. Will probably need several profiles to do it though. Several Shepards (male and female) doing different routes to their destined ends.

Thanks for your comment. I'm presuming you mean to have Thane's death scene included? I originally planned to include a clip of that but opted for one of Kai Leng's death as a reference to that part of the storyline because it worked better for the edit I had in mind. Likewise I knew I was never going to include Synthesis because it wasn't going to work with the way I had planned the timing of the clips from 3:16 onwards. It took me a lot of videos to learn that the quality of the editing, its timing and coherent progression are more important than the quantity of scenes/references included. To me it's not possible to include everything notable about the trilogy in one vid and still retain its effectiveness; at least with a song like this anyway. I appreciate any suggestions though. And please let me know when you make your vid; sounds like it will be interesting. :)

herbytree No problem. I think I just envision it as three moral modes. All sacrificial in their own way, but in different ways ("Each of us has to be willing to die"). So I think I would have flashed between each of the modes, along with their character inspirations. Only really Thane, EDI, ME3 Wrex/Mordin (Cure), and ME3 Legion/Tali (Peace) would be very Green themed, so the pool of scenes would be limited. It's a more specific path (almost all positivity towards it is in ME3), but it would be interesting to compare it to the more core Red, and the optional but still central Blue (which got more of a bump up in ME2 compared to ME1). Don't think I like Synthesis. I don't, and I'm kinda repulsed by it. However, the story path interests me and having all 3 paths compared is a real pleasure to imagine along with this song! :)
