@@nerag7459 it really isn't. it's just presented in such a way for you to think it's a terrible idea where the main character is constantly at odds with the illusive man and his agenda. It has a single goal in mind and that's Human supremacy which I might add utterly justified considering the initial war with the Turians. Also they were the only faction doing anything about disappearances of the human colonies when no one gave a damn. The only reason they "turned" is because the writers saw it as a problem why would a human supremacist organisation suddenly turn against humanity and be enslaved or turned to mush by another Xeno race. They were indoctrinated just like Saren was and Saren wasn't even a bad guy.
