Best game series I have ever played. On one of our Iraq deployments I went big with a gaming laptop AW M17X and while I didn't get a lot of time I was able to get through ME 2. You want immersion? I blew up the collector base and during the escape sequence a rocket attack blew up the generator. Finished the last bit on battery power with my vest and brain bucket on. Priorities.......

Half of this games time is spent talking to the NPCs, the other half is actually playing the game. Makes me want to get my 360 out and smash in some N7 armour. Too bad reality calls me for making a living or I'd be balls deep in a screen. Thank you for the nostalgia from the old days of playing great games

And of course I'm waiting for the next Mass effect game, the biggest questions on my mind "is my Shepherd alive? Will he reunite with his crew? And his romance?"

I remember always hearing about this game growing up. My friends try to convince me by comparing it to Halo but I never really budged outside of the Multiplayer. Once LE got announced I finally gave a shot and that wait was ENTIRELY WORTH IT. Not only having everything upscaled and the entire content package, as well as a unique perspective playing first as an adult. This universe is so mindblowingly beautiful. Now 8 playthroughs later I have a complete understanding as someone from the very beginning

They should have recreated via a dlc an ending that not only highlighted the progress (technology wise) that was made by the Alliance and their Allies especially the use of thanix weapons and newer hard suits ,also a "gold" ending where the effects of destroy control and synthesis are all played out Reapers are destroyed some controlled others synthesized (symbiotic I guess) with humanity attaining more of the synthesis effect than other species. Then where were the leviathans that should have been qued somewhere in the ending because he stated they were going to help,this could set up another arc, an old but new threat? Also there should have been more playtime involving the Geth Quarians and Drell, especially the Alliance of the geth and quarians playtime with an assault group of them assisting would have been a good fit in the ending, there is so much material and unanswered questions that could have been answered with a proper ending, one thing for sure the next series of games should highlight a Systems Alliance that is hyper militarized and on the hunt/exploration, imagine a Systems Alliance in a cold war state of mind similar to how the United States and Russia was.

Good gods.... 30 plus hours of cutscenes.... Still one of the best series ever, apart from the last 15 minutes of ME3. I love playing through in different ways though I favour Paragon as that's more like my personality. This is Bioware at their best but they've gone off the rails with Andromeda, I won't play that. Always love a good mass effect playthrough but dang the order everything is done is just bonkers. Like not talking to the assistant yeoman in ME2 until like 10 missions in. Feels like it was probably just edited into the order its in but just makes less than no sense.

The scales in Halo are all much bigger. More ships, bigger ships, more ennemies etc etc. Its nothing about technologies if i remember correctly, its just the different scale.

Scaling example. So you know how the Forerunners are superior to the Covenant and Humanity combined. A Sovereign class Reaper is roughly 2 kilometers in length. A covenant supercarrier as shown in Reach is 23 Kilometers. The Average CAS Battle Cruiser is 5 kilometers. The covenant alone could dunk the reapers and even human because of the all so beautiful MAC cannons and Nova bombs

While I love most of your other videos, rpgs like Mass Effect are probably not your style. Your choices are way too erratic and make the story seem very disconnected, and that includes your very odd mission order. It is just way too hard to follow the story as one minute you will shoot innocents, and the next, you will shoot your companion to protect someone. I just can't finish this. I love your Assassin Creed vids, but this has way too many paths, and you don't seem to following any of them. Try better next time.

Did you really play ME2 in that order or did you just edit it together that way? Like all the back and forth with Omega instead of just doing all of it at one time. Same with Illum. Come. Leave. Come back later. On an on. Kinda ridiculous. And doing Dr. Kenson's mission anywhere except after the entire rest of the game MAKES NO SENSE TO THE STORY! It's supposed to be last. After you have defeated the Collectors and come back through the Omega 4 Relay. And you rewrote the heretics? That screws the Quarians in ME3!
