I am from India and let me say few things honestly. Mass immigration is a death sentence to the host country. When you allow countless people in who are from a different culture into your country, you are diluting yourself. The things that made you better will fade away. Your way of life will change. The quality of the people you allow to immigrate also matters. With systems like visa (work permits), you are allowing well educated, skilled folks inside who are ready to adapt to your culture and also contribute to your economy. Yes, they do take away your jobs, but they also become you. But when you allow jobless people with no skills to enter your country, you need to provide them asylum at the expense of taxpayer money. They are a burden and also less like to adapt. You need to elect better leaders who are not afraid to take hard decisions (in your interest). It’s a pity what’s happening to Europe. The flood of immigrants they are taking in today, is going to reshape the continent for the next century.

Correct me if I'm wrong. According to what I understand, the person in the video is stating that US elites must not suck quality people from impoverished countries who can become agents of change in their respective homeland. Brain drain is not reducing global poverty, as American elites would like the average American to believe. He discussed the better-off poor (1:52), which is essentially the demographic you are referring to in your comment. To summarize, the individual in the video is essentially arguing that brain drain is not only having detrimental impact in poor countries. The immigration also has a negative impact on the host communities in the area, many of whom are unemployed, low-income workers, or members of the vulnerable class. The immigrant population, even those of high quality, is unsustainable for the natural, social, and physical infrastructure of the host country.

They are people who create the same problems in America as they did from where they came from. And we can’t help them all have a better life where they are. They are incapable of sustaining improvement without constant babysitting. It would never end. We can’t be the world’s daycare. There’s a whole other agenda here. And it’s not to help poor immigrants, it’s to divide the country and weaken the masses for easier control. If we’re fighting amongst ourselves, we’re distracted from what government is doing to us. Really insightful, but there's more to this. I am from India and I hold a masters in biotech. I have been to NTU, Singapore for 6 months with a scholarship I received from my home university to conduct research. I was astonished by the amount of hi-tech lab equipments they had and how well organised the whole work environment was. Being a passionate researcher, I always craved for that. My 3rd world country cannot provide me that. We do not have those crazy amounts of funds to carry on research, and the equiments once broke take months to get fixed after tonnes of paperwork. It is a poor work environment. Now, I for one am educated, but what change can I bring here to my own country to fix things such as this? If the farmers and many others don't pay taxes, where is the funding for research going to come from? If so much is lost in freebies, who is going to fund good research? when so much is lost in corruption, how exactly are we getting the country to get educated? These are the things that compel me to seek a PhD position in some 1st world country, preferably America; as USA still is the gold standard regarded by India (and also Singapore alike) when it comes to employment as scientists after we conclude our PhDs or postdocs in the USA. India needs a total overhaul with more educated leaders and that's finally when we can see better days. Regarding other factors, India is extremely cheap to stay in, and most things that are considered luxuries in the west can be availed of at ease here (8/10 car owners have their own chauffeurs)

I am an Indian, and let me talk about the 2$ figure in India. In my village neighborhood, many people living in 4000 square feet mansions, according to Govt, are making less than $ 2$ per day. They all have assets worth millions of dollars, yet they do not inform Govt about their earning to avoid taxation and to continue getting tax subsidies. Indians have the tradition of living a simple life at the same time owning assets worth millions. I would say less than 1% of Indians earn 2$ per day. I own a farm, and here I struggle to get workers even when I offer 10$ per day. "850 million Indians living in poverty" is a lie, "1.4 billion Indians suffer from corruption and poor infrastructure" is a fact. Poverty is not the major problem in India, but lack of proper infrastructure, corruption, and pollution. ( 400 million Chinese living for less than 2$ is another huge comedy )

Interesting to see actually (chatgpt prompted me this): The average daily cost of living varies significantly across the countries you mentioned. Here's an estimate in euros (€) based on current data: 1. *India*: Around *€15-25/day*, covering affordable meals, basic accommodations, and transport. 2. *Germany*: Approximately *€70-120/day*, including moderate lodging, meals, and local transport costs. 3. *England (UK)*: About *€80-150/day*, depending on the city (London being more expensive). 4. *USA*: Roughly *€100-200/day*, varying significantly between cities like New York and smaller towns. 5. *Japan**: Around *€80-120/day*, considering modest accommodations and public transport. 6. *South Korea*: Around *€60-100/day*, with good value in food and public transport. 7. *Nigeria*: Approximately *€30-50/day*, with lower costs for food and accommodation. These costs are averages and can fluctuate based on lifestyle choices, exchange rates, and specific locations within each country. For more precise planning, consider consulting local travel or cost-of-living resources.

When the disenchanted leave, all that remains is the loyalist and the gullible and the weak. In time, the bad and corrupt will overwhelm that place and destroy it completely. You are the strong, you are the enlightened, and you are the motivated, and you want to see change. You are the white blood cell, in a body that is becoming sick. Don’t leave the body to die. This is the most sincere and complete understanding of global immigration i have ever heard with no politics. This is called brain drain in India. I was working in an American company and i had oppertunity to settle in any country of choice even US but i chose to remain in India. You know Asian uncles and Aunties they will scrap will brain like coconut. They don't understand how people like me can contribute in my own country better than people who bring just money. We understand why West says it is our own fault why we are poor. Let all people of earth live in peace and Harmony. 🙏

One thing, I also want to add , suppose A person moves from India to the USA . He will also send some amount of remittance to India Right ? For an example In this financial year india received almost 120 billion USD as remittance, it helps on an average of 4 family members and the entire local economy. Hence , every addition of a million people will affect the lifestyle of 4-5 million people isn't it.😀 Second thing, all about the PPP model , India is way more chipper than the USA .😅

I'm pretty sure this video was made prior to our open border under Biden/Harris and was speaking about Legal Immigration. Imagine using the amounts of money spent on the illegals, Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, and all the wasted spending by our Government used to open and support small businesses in the impoverished areas. Just a portion of those funds would do so much and allow America to reduce our National Debt. Great Video Rick. We learned this in high School and College back when we educated rather than indoctrinated students.

This still ignores how these countries are so poor in the first place. How do many of the poorest places have insane resources like diamonds, gold, cobalt, oil, and whatever else. They should be the richest people in the world, they should be richer than the countries that have barely any resources at all. And why is that ?

My family owned 2 taxi cars but now I can't even eat breakfast with bread because it's expensive now. I'm a "legal" immigrant. I was only 13 when it happened, so I had absolutely no idea what was going on. Looking back at almost 40 years I've been here, I am almost certain that I would not have made this far if I stayed in the country I was born in. I do agree with the presenter that helping people to do better in their own countries will improve the lives of far more people. However, I would not accept any living condition without something equivalent to the 2nd Amemdment of the US.
@William_NS5 ай бұрын
Are you White? Because the problem isn't "illegal immigration". The problem is immigration from third world shitholes with peoples vastly different than the majority population. The goal is to change the demographics, "votes for dems" is just a byproduct of that. But make no mistake, this is for demographic replacement and ultimately genocide.

Brilliant. Today I had to notarize a document for a woman who could only provide a Honduras ID, spoke no English, was with some people who claimed she and her children lived with them. The address was some small apartment complex, probably overcrowded. And the woman from Honduras was trying to enroll her children into the public school here. It is sickening what is going on here in Texas. These people are vulnerable and being trafficked and their children, and we just smile and say Welcome to Texas.. lol
@htrspsupra21025 ай бұрын
Back in the day when my kids were in public school, I saw the exact same thing. Where the woman was enrolling her kid into kindergarten and claimed she had no documents or proof of residency or a Birth certificate or SS card for her kid. Yet the school demanded my DL, a mortgage statement and recent mail for proof of residency from me, my kids Birth certificate and SS card as well. I stood up and said "she's lying to you" so the whole room could hear it. I knew the school staff were of a certain political affiliation from previous dealings with them. I also said "this is insane you want me to show all this and yet they can just say whatever, or I don't know, and you allow this?". This crap started under OboZo when he said your no longer allowed to ask reasonable and obvious questions like these anymore.

I thought FB started in the US- they deleted my post and now I am in "FB jail" for being violent. The factchecker's did not allow the YT video explaining what happened and they wrote it is not true.
