Put yourself in the mindset of an abused boy who has to take this behavior and internalize the shame, humiliation, and rage until they reach the age and size where they can physically not allow this treatment anymore - you have two paths you seek revenge on your abuser or you become an abuser. There are no homosexuals in Islam. The Quran recognises four genders, one is what we would call 'effiminate' male. These are NOT classed as males, so it's not haram for Muslim men to have sex with them before marriage. After puberty, many of these men live as women to avoid any accusations of homosexuality. @pmc2999 the whole homosexuality affair is a prime example that islam did not supplant the local culture. Muslims had islamized Afghanistan by the 10th century but despite a millennium of islam being there, it didn't erase the practice. Yes, if a PRACTICING Muslim ruler controlled the country the punishment would be meted out but at times there have been instances where said king itself practiced it. For all the flaws and errors of the Taliban, you got to give credit that they criminalized the practice in the territory they held. You know what's funny? They adopted it from the Greeks. Sort of. The original cult of Ashtera for women was that on Thursday women had to sleep alone as they had to satisfy the devil sexually on that day of the week or he would cause her to miscarry children and even die in the process. In Egypt it was practiced by all denominations, jews, muslims and even Copt and still is but frowned upon. So while the woman is apparently getting off on her own with a demon on Thursday the men do their thing together without the women around. Now that the pagan cult was being wooed by islam, its practices were tolerated and picked up by islam so as to not drive away potential converts. However, while there was an initiatic aspect that made sense for pagans, they lost a lot of the real reasons why it was practiced as a form of witchcraft cope, and it now is practiced for purely sex addictive reasons without framework through the “everything goes” because I am muslim martyr type entitlement. Look up the Zar cult of Sudan or Ethiopia.

The reason so many 'boys' want to grow a full beard quickly is that, until that point in time as you have a beard, you are fair game for buggery... (I spent 2 years setting up medical clinics in the region...)

I watched a movie some years ago called "The Kite Runner." It took place in a Middle Eastern culture. I have been trying to understand why this type of violence is so pervasive. You would think that sexual violence would be rare against anyone, and yet it is not. I wish people who did this would lose the ability to ever use it for any reason other than urination ever again.

Having worked in the Middle East for a number of years, it is prevalent everywhere…but never mentioned or discussed. They start them young and it has been going on for GENERATIONS! My fifty-year-old gay friend was getting more action than all of the young, fresh graduate women combined.

This comment section is 98% completely ignorant of the reality of man love Thursday. As the mother of 2 Army veterans with several deployments who have had to take cultural immersion, sensitivity training prior to deployments I can tell you this doesn't scratch the surface of the truth. I have a large extended military family and have seen footage of things that make anyone with a soul struggle against the urge to Hiroshima the heck out of these regions. May the Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us all ☦️ They're tangible evidence of the evil that walks among us.

The first time I heard was when I was in college in 2018. A classmate of mine who was deployed in Afghanistan was talking about it when the professor bought up what reporters should do when they see something that goes against their cultural beliefs while in another country.

I've been to Saudi Arabia. There they will arrest a male and female couple who holds hands if they're not married. But if you're in public, it's hard not to notice male couples holding hands and even having their arms hugging the other guy.
@zey7974Ай бұрын
.. arms and hugging with the same is not sexual I’m Saudi btw. Cultural norms are not the same everywhere.
