Sir, amazing video and animations. I just have a question, why are smaller ions retained longer compared to bigger ions? And does it happen only with magnetic sector or others too?

I think lighter ions will reach first to the detector because they are deflected more and they have to travel less. Your animation shows, heavier ions reaching first to the detector. Please clear this doubt.
