MASS START MTB RACE ON SNOW - MEGAVALANCHE 2024 CARNAGE!!! 🤯

So here it is the Megavalanche in Alpe d'Huez, France
The Top Fastest 35 riders from each of the 10 Qualifying heats start the Elite Race.
This race covers snow, Gnarly terrain, slippy rocks, jumps, drops and corners all whilst battling with one another down a course that drops over 2,800 metres,
Made a little more difficult with a storm the night before!
Could I beat my so called World class level mates, Brendan Fairclough, Sam Reynolds, Andrew Neethling and Jono Jones 🤷‍♂️

Ignoring #1205 and the turd burglar in the orange top who barged past you at 12:20 and then caused a couple of pile ups ahead of you (you passed him again at about 40 mins on the fire road)... mainly cos they're not worth it! Best moments are the guy slowing to wave to the baby on the road climb, you passing Sam when he was too tired to tell you to get the camera out of his face 🤣and the incredible riding by most people on the forest mud slide! Awesome video Deaks!

18:06 incident with #1205 on Yellow Canyon. 25:15 "You prick" 29:45 "Sorry" as man loses it and sides down on his ass, narrowly avoids sliding man. 32:17 "carnage" as man down, then follows French man in green slipping about in tripod mode. Remarks "how different this is". French then man assumes Ben meant difference in speed, and politely lets him through! 39:04 - revenge taken on #1205 as Ben overtakes him on the climb 49:50 - meets up with slide on ass man at end and they reminisce the moment and fist bump - all is good in the world. Then proceed to wash very mucky bikes.

Brings back the nightmare of the year I did it, started from the same spot but it was snowing up there and pissing with rain on the way to the lift to the top. Then that flat track before the slippy woods we just had to drag bikes along as the wheels wouldn’t turn and there was a que of people. Then my dropper got stuck up for the last quarter of the run. Not been back for some reason 😂
