I've tried this several times with different emails and it's never worked. Always had a problem or an error. Tried contacting them also and they were less than helpful.

What provider do you use? I've done it with Gmail and Apple and it's always worked without error. Sorry to hear of your trouble... not surprised they don't have great support. 🤦‍♂️

The link in the description gets a 404 error. Clicking on your websites logo or in the menu one can get to the homepage of your website and subscribe to your newsletter this way nonetheless.

What if you block them but they come in still

If you unsubscribe but they keep emailing you, you could take legal action... but 99% of people won't do that. Instead you can block them. A tool like SaneBox offers a "Sane Blackhole" to banish emails forever. (aff link: profitabletools.com/get/sanebox) If you use "Hey.com" for email, they allow you to "Screen out" certain senders. And good old gmail has a block feature as well. Just click the triple dots at the top of an email and choose "Block sender".

I like, that Dave introduced us to a possibility to not open every newsletter, scroll down to the end of that newsletter, find the link to the unsubscribe option, click the link, possibly have to click several times more, probably have to wait for a confirmation email where one has to click once again to confirm the unsubscribtion, etc. etc. And that‘s what Dave was saying in his video. He is legit.

Why not just create a folder with the filter unsubsribe. Then you can delete them all at once.

It's not about deleting newsletters, it's about unsubscribing. If you created a filter you'd still need to go through an manually unsubscribe from lists, and you'd undoubtedly have duplicates to weed through.

Nope, unfortunately not. Unroll.me currently supports: iCloud. Yahoo! Mail. AOL Mail. Outlook.com, Hotmail, MSN, Live Mail.
