@@tester3x Ashbranch Juniper is right! I'm a massage therapist myself and I can tell you that it is one of the key ethics of any serious massage therapist to be non-judgmental of anyone's body, and to just be there to help in general! I can completely understand being self-conscious though, thats totally common. Any decent massage therapist would help you feel comfortable with the process, I recommend doing some research, and go get you a good massage! 🙂 love this technique too by the way 👌

I swear. You are so Good!! I actually can feel relief in my subscapularis/rhomboids just from watching , and listening to you. Where can I find someone here on Long Island to get this treatment ? LOL. Its hard to find someone as experienced, dedicated, and educated as well as you ♥

I have just discovered your videos & have saved them so I can review them endlessly. I have noticed how the poor rhomboids are ignored too often & they are so deserving of our attention due to the relationship they have with the scapula. Thank you so much for sharing !! Denise RMT

The only fact to watch it,relax me sooo much. I don't even dare imagine what it means,to get it. I always told you(since I subscribed to your channel) that I really love your massage techniques. Because you really know what you do. Your skills depending on your knowledges. It's clear (at least to me,uh!). Actually,that's why I subscribed. Waiting for another live chat, I virtually hug you from Italy.

Male therapist that got his license at the end of Jan this year. I would really like to include this technique into my massage. Is the client supposed to hold the drape over her chest while you make the shoulder mobile? Sometimes it seems that the clients arm is being held by you completely and the sheet is lying where ever it falls. As a guy most women would not feel very comfortable. If I am supposed to have them hold the drape. Will this effect the quality of this technique any? TIA.

Rebel Massage I think it’s called “Simple”! Love it. Wish I could find someone as knowledgeable as you around Tucson. I was in a car accident in 2008 and developed seizures because of it. I have nerve damage between my shoulder blades. It’s affected my entire body! And nobody’s been able to help me. They have me on such horrible medication that’s affecting my mind. And can give me leukemia, because of their combination. I do enjoy your videos just because of how knowledgeable you are! I’ve very much noticed that many of your followers and commenters are themselves massage therapists! That in itself says a lot about you! Very awesome job, well done!

This only works well on people that are thin and lightly muscular, definitely not for those with extra fluid on them or dense tissue, even thick adipose tissue. Does not work on those with tight fascia either.
@catiecoleman9433 жыл бұрын
I work with larger bodies often, I find that the heart of the technique is available and effective, you may have to adjust for tissue and muscle, you may also have to listen with your hands to pqlpate underlying structures. Larger bodies need work too and it is important as massage therapists we adapt our skills and explore techniques to be able to help.

@@Ridogg81 a person's constitution doesn't change the way you are working, you just adjust the pressure
@matthewzito61305 жыл бұрын
I does seem like it would be more difficult on someone with a really thick, muscular back. You may have to feel around just to find the scapula, so I doubt it would be as simple as just applying more pressure.
