I miss this channel, this is one of the originals and KZbin did what they do best with creators, screw them over so they can pick their own celebrity KZbinrs. By far the most creative when there was barely anything ASMR.

It's sad and quite depressing because what you just said is unfortunately true, the only ASMR's nowadays that can compete with this quality are those weird Vtubers or ones with downright weird and disgusting anime girl thumbnails which just make listening to ASMR unpleasant (for me, don't know if you can relate)

I listened to this one night when I was visiting a friend in California. I was away from home and from my husband, and on a different time schedule. I couldn't sleep....I tried music, everything....Then I turned to you tube and found you! You aren't going to believe this, but it was so relaxing I TRIED to STAY AWAKE!! I was there at her house for 5 nights, not ONCE did I make it past 10 minutes! I was super awesome!! Do you have whole body from head to toe relaxation massage? I don't know if this is just me or not, and I love everything of Dimitri's, but when simulating touching the centre of my forehead with a camera, the best way to do this would probably be about a quarter of a way down the image of the video/the camera lens and not around the outside of the lends. It just always feels more real when the asmrtist is tracing my brow line just above the centre of the screen

I might have one suggestion for the future: instead of doing ear to ear whisper and crinkle and what have you, perhaps do the sounds a little bit further away, so the 3d effect is stronger. you might have to turn the gain a little bit up, but I for myself actually find a little bit of white static noise really relaxing. It would be really cool if you'd try that out :)

If you go by a lot of the videos on offer, ASMR is often presented as being something that people do to relax, but ASMR is a sensation - everyone reacts differently! You may find that your ASMR response is simply a lot more intense. You might be able to find asmr videos of the right 'level' for you, or it might just be something that isn't for you (in the same way that some people love massage, some people hate it).

Most of your videos work amazingly well to relax me, but this one tensed me up due to some unique aspects of me and my life experiences (I felt like I was fighting the "flight" instinct of fight-or-flight the whole time, to keep listening.) When I feel air going near my face, I hold my breath involuntarily; even when I try to breathe, I'll STOP. And being rather unattractive, I don't care for it when I think people are looking at me closely. Glad it worked for others though.
