PS ... 1,2,3,4...Fifffff!! 😂 and you guys are exactly in the right mind thinking that some of us Dads can’t buy a $500 pocket knife and we like to buy knives (plural) every month. You guys working with massdrop have taken over my edc rotation and you guys and Civivi /We (Civivi budget is so much value for the buck - as are you ). “Cool story Hansel ...” I’m 33 and I say the same quotes as you guys with my hometown buds. I never had used massdrop so I wasn't even familiar with these until recently. The Crux is now my most carried knife. I've bought a Buc and Dao since. I'm left handed so while I was familiar with you guys as knife makers, I like being able to swap the clip for left hand carry. I like the Crux enough that I bought all the colors with the plain handle. I like a solid feeling knife and like that it slices but isn't super thin blade stock. I might be in the minority but I also like that the Ti handle slabs are just that. No weight relief or anything. Just a solid usable knife. It fits my hand like a glove. I only wish I'd have found it before 2022.

I've got two Falcons, a Crux and a Gent. Actually love the Gent the best. It's so light and flips so smooth.

Neat video, I've got Falcon #0018 and Crux #0004, and SL#0018 too now that I think about it. They're fantastic, the Crux especially is one of my favorites. I particularly like the way you have designed the lockbar cutout, and WE did a perfect job with them. Oh and the Bucs have a killer action. It also is a design that you can't really get until you hold it.

The Gent is so good I am buying a second one as a spare! I think custom higher end Gents would sell like crazy. 20cv or m390 steel, recessed into the scale titanium anodized pocket clip with the same deep carry style, Anodized liners, marbled carbon or micarta scales.

Just another fan here. My Buc, Gents and, now, the Dao brings a lot joy. The prices are ridiculous and kinda hard to imagine what the margins are but I hope you guys make tons of $$. Rock on Ferrum Forge!

Have you thought about doing a button lock for Massdrop? I know you'd do great at it. I just got the Dao and it took a little bit of time finding the right middle flick technique but I got it down now and it's my favorite at the moment. I like the Buc a lot as well but the Dao's blade shape allows it to slide in my pocket easier. Also, I have to give praise to your design choice to turn the lock bar relief milling inward. I think you're the only ones so do so. It makes your knives so much more pocket friendly!

We did. The button lock Mordax is a collaboration with MassDrop and ProTech. The initial drop is over, but there will be more available on MassDrop in the future.

@@FerrumForge Oh that's right, can't believe I forgot that one (insert face palm emoji). I will keep an eye out for it. I think if I'm recalling correctly that one is was a little more expensive due to being US production. It was a little out of my price range at the time it dropped unfortunately. Edit: I just checked out the picks on Massdrop and The milled handle version looks really nice!

Well you are support Chris and I, the 120 employees at Massdrop, the workers at the warehouse in New Jersey that Massdrop contract for fulfilment, and the shipping companies (USPS, UPS and Fedex) ZT is owned by the Japanese corporation KAI Group, which has over 3,300 employees worldwide with only 150 being in the US at the ZT/Kershaw facility in Oregon. So if you want to get technical you are supporting more American works by buying a Massdrop-made product. My kids certainly thank you for purchasing one ;)

Love your stuff. I have 3 gents and a Crux with serious thoughts on buying the Dao. Looking forward to more “Gent” style designs. I’d love to see a full TI one. Simple, clean and indestructible! :D It would be great to be able to buy spare parts too.

I have three of your collabs and hoping to get the Dao when it's available to everyone who didn't get in on the initial drop. I too love the Buc, the handle is really really comfortable. ALSO, I think it would be a great thing if you could get Massdrop to offer custom anodized titanoum hardware kits for your MD collabs. Or even just offer replacement hardware in case of a stripped screw head.

Only models that I'm missing are the dao and mordax, I like the Buc so much I don't think I'm missing out being so similar. And watching this vid I was trying to think of my favourite, and when I decided I kept changing my mind, that's how good and diverse your designs are. I'm also the proud owner of a custom finish "sith" crux that you guys did for me and I only know of mine and Mike (brutaledge) from massdrop that exsist.

I Like, your products a lot!!! Would like to purchase one of your, Dao knives!!! But I don't like the process of having to join Facebook to do so. I don't like Facebook and I don't trust them!!!
