Happy Saturday gents 😊😊 I enjoyed these colours very much and both pours. Gold is bossy 🤣 Not a big fan of white in pours as it always muddied my paints but I understand tiny layers between colours does make them pop. The red, Prussian blue, graphite and cobalt blue together are gorgeous!!

Very nice pour Lee!! That thick paint makes all of the difference! I love the mix of colors in your “fingerlings” and the cells in the Prussian Blue. I didn’t really like the colors between the fingerlings, so I’m glad you got rid of some of it! Waiting for Jeremy now. I’m hoping he’s wrecking with a comb or similar, because I think it gives a better effect than the trendy marble.

I really loved Jeremy's wrecked ring! It showed the gold, red, turquoise, deep blue and the copper colors so well! And the pattern was awesome as usual! 👏👏 I'm so glad you mentioned the white section, Lee. I liked your piece, but that stuck out a bit to me. Mina also does a mini ring pour over spots that she is less happy with. Other options might be balloon kiss that spot or drag a popsicle stick with another color on it with the pattern to lessen the contrast. I've also seen Mixed Media Girl embellish after the fact to make it something she really loves. Just thoughts. It is a nice piece. I just agree with you on the white. 👍

What’s the purpose of putting white around the ring?

It helps the ring flow over the canvas and keeps the integrity of the lines. Without it the colors would roll over each other! With it the colors slide so you can anchor them over the edges of the canvas!
