Massed Pipes Birmingham Tattoo 2019 With Amazing Grace!

As we commemorate 100 years since World War One it is important to remember that military pipers were killed and injured in significant numbers in the Great War, before the War Office banned the practice of playing in the trenches in 1915. However, the ban was often not observed and Canadian piper James Richardson was awarded the Victoria Cross for playing in action in 1916.
Combining for this year's performance will be members from the following bands:

Nene Valley Pipe Band
Northampton Pipe Band
Nottinghamshire Police Pipe Band
