Nice video; I would like to see a M-F 1526 HST with a fel on it to see what the pull would be. I have a friend who bought a 1840 M with a shuttle shift, & a cab last year they are really nice tractors. Thanks again for the demo.

Love The Tests. I'd like to see the differences in similar models like 1835M versus 1840M. GC1723E versus GC1725M or Transmission Comparisons. Might help customers learn the added value of stepping up to next model or different transmission for their needs. Great Job! Love the videos and will be sharing to our customers.

Way Kool demonstration, keep them comming Sir. My Massey-Ferguson 1736m power-shuttle is a Great small compact tractor. Going to get a 1835E with shuttle shift with backhoe. " Massey-Ferguson- the last Tractor you will ever need ".

I wish I was closer, I'd bring over my 2706e. These hydrostatic just seem to not have the power to the wheels that the shuttle shifts have. I don't know that my extra 18hp would have that much base power difference, but mine would for sure break the tires loose in 1st gear high no problem. It would probably spin the tires in 2nd gear high if working the throttle and clutch to pto engine rpm. 3rd gear it could maybe just start to break the tires loose before stalling the engine.

First off yes mechanical transmissions are always more efficient than hydrostat. However I think on this 1840 MH the oversize tires played a role as well and I aim to prove that in the future with a new video. Finally the 1840MH has a servo controlled hydro designed not to stall which is good and bad.

Was looking at getting one of these, unfortunately I've gotten my 1 ton Ram 3500 stuck in the mud before. This shouldn't have a problem pulling it out correct?

I'd love to see a 1825E SS against an 1840E H. That way you can see what is given up when you go to hydros.

A power shuttle does not require the clutch to shift forward/reverse. Also typically a wet clutch vs dry.
