Next you do that dip the new seals in power steering oilit makes it easier the 2 hole on the retainer is for special tool I made one from a piece of1/4 in x 3in flat stock about 8ins long it served me for yrs repairing those steering cylinders

Maybe you found those hoses? Mine are leaking badly and i cant seem to find them anywhere..

No I never found them. Probably go to o Reilly’s or somewhere and have them made would be best bet

What do you use to seal a hole after inserting wire

I didn’t. It may fill with dirt but it was dirty when I took it apart so I’m ok with it. The cap had orings to seal the vessel soon risk of contamination to the hydraulics
