One way to remove the lock nut that holds the draft control spring in the hydralic lift cover. This one was rusted in bad and all the parts except the spring needed replacing.

I got one I got to pull down only works on the draft leaver push it down it lifts pull it up plough drops 🤷 anyone ever had that happen

There's an allen screw just to the left of that nut. You remove that and the whole spring assembly turns out.

Your right. That screw came out easily. Though the big locking nut was seized in rust. Once out I used a little file and slowly filed the threads in so the new nut could screw in.

the heat probably did help. though i did try with heat and persuasion but i couldn't get anything on it to screw it out,

secil421 I'm guessing you mean 'hub' cap... It should just unscrew. It's an inexpensive part so if needs to be destroyed to remove it, just do it and replace it with a new cap.
