This takes me back used to love this job I had an old ford 4000 on ours that used to bark really loud , a bit of skill involved lining up the centre bar and if you knocked them over you had to restack them !

I grew up with MF terrific machines, spent hours on 590, 690, 699, 2620, I have the opinion MF at this time were the best, the 300 series were a poor rehash, to be honest well behind the competition. at this time JD introduced the SG2 cab well ahead of its time. MF only caught up when AGCO bought them. Now MF is back up there with the best.

300 series is still a very good tractor. Also much sought after now, fetching 20-25000for a good 390T
