Massey Ferguson MF25 French built diesel parts tractor coming home

4-107 perkins diesel, the other one runs and is a nice original, this one will be used as a donor since parts are very hard to find in the us. You can find motor parts all day long

Hello from 🇨🇦 my brother has a MF 25 in beautiful shape but he can’t seem to find a socket that fits the rear lug bolt off he has tried SAE and Metric and it would be much appreciated if you could shed some light on that thanks.

I wouldn't know right off the bat, but I can check when Im back tinkering on it when I get around to it, that's particular one in the video is my parts tractor for my other MF25. But actually I was going to ask you if you knew where to get a hydraulic pump for one. But I'll let you know what size it is(If I can) thanks for the comment

Hey thanks for your reply and yes I will be curious to see what you come up with but as far as the hydraulic pump goes I would suggest tractor wreckers and I am sure you thought of that already but maybe across the pond but then it will probably be to expensive but if I come across any information on that i will keep you in mind 😀

@@keithwarkentin well I saw on yesterday tractors they sell some decent amount of parts for the massey 25, they even have new wheel bolts for sale for it(but I know that doesn't mean size but hey) yeah my running massey needs the pinion gear changed out but I got a pinion and shockingly yesterday tractors sells the ring gear and pinion for the massey 25 of all things, they say these things are very difficult to find parts for but I for some reason is seemingly finding some parts. But thanks for the thought of keeping an eye out for a hydraulic pump, actually I'm going to go to my friend's house to fire her up tomorrow, been sitting for like 5 or 6 months😢, don't like letting anything sit that long, so I most definitely will have to charge the battery and prime the fuel system, she has a small fuel leak that I feel like is coming from the fuel element, but Ill get her firgured out. But yeah I'd love to see a video of your brothers massey if you have one, lots of these videos of these 25s are in europe mostly, pretty rare over here in north america. And you could go on this website called jensales they have reproduction manuel's for the massey 25 on how to repair and operate it(both separate manuals). A education on everything on how to repair the 25 and steps you take to do the certain things to it. But thanks again for keeping eyes out and if I don't get to fire up the massey this week I'll at least see if I can get the size of the wheel nuts for ya.

@@gmc_crackerbox_truck1485 Hey right on I love the anticipation of starting my tractors after they’ve been sitting long I have 4 8N Ford tractors one that I use for blowing snow so I have 2 block heaters and one mag heater on the oil pan and with all that she doesn’t have a choice she’s got to go 😀I have fired her up and blown snow at -24 Celsius but the only thing is that seat isn’t very warm but I drained the 80/90 and put TDH in and the hydraulics work much faster but I just had to brag a bit but those MF 25 are going to be worth a lot of money in the future because they are rare and so very unique but next time I talk to my brother I will bring him up to speed 😀Keep that old iron running my friend!

@@keithwarkentin sorry I never replied back, completely forgot to with everyday life and work going on. But soon I'm gonna tear into it and get the pinion changed out. Wouldn't mind working it here and there
