If he had deeper pockets he would still be running circles around them. So much more to make that tractor run than a straight 6. But hey i got to see him win a grand national championship and that is pretty special.

Sadly no. The pistons and rods in that engine are tiny. The Perkins V8 has reached the maximum it can take in fuel and air. It's just show piece now. Winning any significant pull much less a championship would be a huge stroke of luck.
