Thanks Cyle for advising me , I'll continue watching channel and give it a shot.Enjoy seeing shop come together, nice job ! you are multi talented for sure. A retired builder/ weekend mechanic. Amazon has many parts, not all though. Almost positive it's an output bearing, engine had overheating issues I traced back to radiator temp. Sensor not turning fan on .was in a shop recently and they only replaced head gasket? 500 alligator is an underpowered machine even when running properly. Ride a 2016 moto gussi Grissom. And dit bikes. Don't understand these side by sides. For sale !

Yeah the SxS are a different beast for sure. I prefer to work on motorcycles but if a SxS are ATV comes in to the shop, I'm not turning the work down lol. I will be making a video on a coleman 500. Motor is destroyed but I will give people a good look into that style of Hisun motor.

Another good video. I’m no Stranger to pulling these types of engines apart I’ve just never had HISUN 700 in pieces so it’s nice to see if there’s anything different or any special tool I might need to have. I’m a little bit scared about driving a Chinese product out in the middle of the mountains lol but I’m packing a fair amount of parts so that if I ever break down out there I can at least fix some of the stuff but it looks like the engines are built pretty well And it’s cloned off of a great design so I’m thinking they’re fairly reliable. One thing that mine does not have is the oil filter extender. I like the idea of raising the oil slightly but I’m wondering if in steep hills will that blow out the crank case vent from the oil level being higher? Either way I’m going to give it a shot and see what happens because I know the 660 Rhino’s were famous for stators failing however it was most likely due to low oil levels and the operator not checking oil every ride.

That oil pump/water pump chain sure is loose but I know the Rhinos were a bit on the loose side as well. I don’t trust the chains on these things so I bought a rhino 660 chain right from Yamaha as well as the oil pump chain. Have you seen many timing chains break? Second question is with those oil filter extenders does it have a higher oil capacity than the standard? Mine is a 2008 model so it just has the regular screw in style like the rhino had I was thinking of putting one of those extenders on just add a little more oil.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the chains on these things either. Everyone I have built had a crappy chain like this. Even new motors that had transmission problems had a sloppy chain. I have seen the timing chains stretch way out & the timing chain tensioner go bad. Also the cam lobes wear off. I haven't seen a broken chain yet. With the oil dipstick extension it does take more oil. Ever since they added that it has helped with the wet clutch last longer & not starve for oil.

Can you tell me what the oil pressure should be for Hisun 700? I can't find any info. I put a gauge and when cold it runs around 28 at idle after warm up it's about 9 to 12 at idle. That seems low. Thanks for your help ,love your videos!

Does the 500/700 share the same bottom end like the crank,cases etc but just a different top end,cylinder,piston,head,cam etc? I see they both have an 84mm stroke.

From what I have seen & checked on. Yes they do. The cam chain I believe is longer but don't quote me on that. Not sure if the if the ecu & maps are the same. I wouldn't believe they are because if different cam lift & duration.

Can you tell me if the 750 is the same? Mine spun woodruf key on the crank. Replaced flywheel and key. I can’t get this thing to start. It has gas and fire. I guess it has to be the timing.

I'm not sure if the 750 is the same as the 700. But definitely check your timing & vavle clearances.

It looks like your going past the torque settings with the impact. The torque wrench it not turning when getting to settings, most likely bolts are tighter than torque spec.
@limitlesspowersportsservic3394
@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 10 ай бұрын
Most of the case bolts are only 10nm-12nm witch is not much tighter than snug. So if I set my torque wrench to 10nm & the bolt might be a little tighter than the the torque wrench will beep & vibrate at the 10nm. I get what you are saying tho. But a 1 are 2 nm more will not effect the bolt..

@@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 I understand, but the torque wrench needs to turn the fastener to the torque spec and stop. If it's tighter than that ,it's pointless to use a torque wrench. You have good information, teach the world that is watching you the correct way to torque a fastener. Keep up the good work. Just some constructive info.

I'm interested in your engine, have a 2016 500 with a bad transmission or output bearing that gets hot and binds up. interchangeable?? Machine is otherwise in great shape in n.j.

Hey George. Unfortunately it's already gone. I can Guarantee it would be cheaper to rebuild your motor then it would be by I used to want to have it shipped to you periodude the rebuild should only take about one day altogether. That would be a 1/2 A-day to tear it down find out what part you need to order and pretty much a 1/2 A-day to make sure it's all cleaned up and put back together
