MassIV Ruta, Norway - 350 km northbound from Haukeliseter to Sota Sæter
Part 3: Jotunheimen and Breheimen
Part 3 of my adventure in Norway. The part I had been warned about by hikers that passed me from the other direction. They said it was going to be incredibly tough and not enjoyable at all. They said it was going to be hell.
Turned out, I looooved it! Thanks to the incredible weather and the opportunity to rest in Fondsbu and get my mind set on some demanding terrain, it was the part I really relished most. The views were amazing and the feeling of accomplishment after every section was a great morale booster!

Hi Grei Fi, did my MassIV Ruta till Sognefjellshytta, couldn't do the last 2 legs (Nordaleseter and Sota Saeter) because of "Hans", low pressure area, worst rain in 25 years,...but the trail so far was awesome, thanks for the inspiration to do it! Best hike I ever did : )

@@greifi7283 ja genau ich glaube das war ich :). Ich habe es tatsächlich auch geschafft :) ich hatte glaube ich ab Finse bis Haukeliseter auch so gut wie keinen Regen mehr, das hat die Wanderung dann deutlich leichter gemacht :)

Just a little suggestion: Mountain boots are made for difficult and slippery terrain. They are a little bit heavier, but much safer. And you might not get as wet. :)

and after I saw the new GearSkeptic video on shoe weight, I bought some Lundhags and will try them in Scotland this year - I just hope they are nice on the road walks too 😊

Hi! Also das war 1 Tag Anreise, 1 Tag in Oslo mit Sightseeing, DNT Schlüssel besorgen und Essenspäckchen wegschicken. 1 Tag mit dem Bus nach Haukeliseter und noch ein paar Kilometer zu nem hübschen Platz laufen. Dann 18 Tage Wandern. Angekommen, hatte ich das Glück, dass mich zwei Jäger noch am selben Abend mit zum Dønfoss Campingplatz genommen haben, von da ging es am nächsten Tag wieder mit dem Bus nach Oslo und am Tag drauf nach Hause.. macht 23 Tage insgesamt. Aber ich bin eher gemütlich unterwegs. 😃 Ich wünsch dir ganz viel Spaß dann im Sommer!!

Very impressiv. Congratulations ! Indeed you were lucky with this beautiful weather. A foggy day would have been a problem in the "hell" part. Could you tell me what's the brand of your hoodie ?
