It is amazing to me to see your progression in poker in just about one year. Back then playing 1-3 and winning or losing 200 to 500 was a big deal, now winning or losing 2000 to 5000 is the norm. keep it going. I think that your level of play is getting close to Brad Owen and your buddy Ethan maybe should play more tournaments...lol. Plus your Vlogs are one of the best out there.

Love the analysis on the AJ vs AK hand against Kim. It's great to hear your though process before you saw the cards, and I'm sure it's tempting to try and justify your play with hindsight but I like how you're never afraid to look bad with either a risky play or your breakdowns.

Unfortunately the hand was played wrong from the beginning. 4betting nit player with the hand that is much likely dominated by most of the opps 3-bet range with the intention of “put the pressure” not a great idea. Just fold preflop

Mariano, I am a break even rec player who plays a few times a month. Can you do a video on how you improved your game from 1-3 to $10-20?
@upbreaker70552 жыл бұрын
Not going to speak for Mariano. But the general rule is you should be consistently winning at the level your on before you move up to the next level. (Unless you have a huge score that allows you to test the waters a bit earlier) that way if you run into a wall you can go back to theblower level and build back up.
@niuren2 жыл бұрын
@@upbreaker7055 right, what would be some ways to learn to win at my level more? That’s my real question, thanks!
@ccox28232 жыл бұрын
you dont really need the skill level to play that game, you just need the $, here's one way of doing it: step 1. create a youtube channel step 2. get some audience going (this is the tough part) step 3. create a poker club online where you can rake the hell out of them step 4. voilà!
@ccox28232 жыл бұрын
they say what helps a lot too is trying to mimic G-man all the time
@dan224822 жыл бұрын
1. Dedicate more time to playing. It’ll be hard to be a winning player at higher stakes if you don’t play very often. 2. Challenge yourself to watch every call-in hand on Crush Live Poker’s channel (Bart Hanson). Johnathan little also has a ton of good hand reviews but they’re primarily tournaments. 3. Watch live streams and vlogs like this to better understand how the higher stakes games play without putting anything at risk.
