Unfortunately the hand was played wrong from the beginning. 4betting nit player with the hand that is much likely dominated by most of the opps 3-bet range with the intention of “put the pressure” not a great idea. Just fold preflop

It is amazing to me to see your progression in poker in just about one year. Back then playing 1-3 and winning or losing 200 to 500 was a big deal, now winning or losing 2000 to 5000 is the norm. keep it going. I think that your level of play is getting close to Brad Owen and your buddy Ethan maybe should play more tournaments...lol. Plus your Vlogs are one of the best out there.

Not going to speak for Mariano. But the general rule is you should be consistently winning at the level your on before you move up to the next level. (Unless you have a huge score that allows you to test the waters a bit earlier) that way if you run into a wall you can go back to theblower level and build back up.

@ccox28233 жыл бұрын
you dont really need the skill level to play that game, you just need the $, here's one way of doing it: step 1. create a youtube channel step 2. get some audience going (this is the tough part) step 3. create a poker club online where you can rake the hell out of them step 4. voilà!

1. Dedicate more time to playing. It’ll be hard to be a winning player at higher stakes if you don’t play very often. 2. Challenge yourself to watch every call-in hand on Crush Live Poker’s channel (Bart Hanson). Johnathan little also has a ton of good hand reviews but they’re primarily tournaments. 3. Watch live streams and vlogs like this to better understand how the higher stakes games play without putting anything at risk.

10/20 with a 20 BB ante means that the big blind will post 20 for their blind and will also throw in another 20 (ante) into the pot. Now, if UTG wants to limp in, it's still 20 as the ante does not add into the blind. It's simply in the pot. This induces more action.

@MarianoPoker3 жыл бұрын
I said I wasn't sure
@victorburnett63293 жыл бұрын
@@MarianoPoker She closed the action to your 4bet so you gotta figure AK strongly in her range even with your ace blocker, actually 4x more likely than JJ since you have a J (12 combos of AK vs 3 combos JJ), and you have figure that QQ would 5 bet a significant % OOP PF (let's say 33%) and TT would fold some % OOP PF with nearly break even implied odds to set mine (lets say 33%) so you lose a lot of those in her 4 bet calling range. So you got 12 combos AK on flop, 4 combos of QQ and TT, 3 combos JJ, that's at least 50% AK. When K turn comes, AK is still more probable any PP (9 combos to 4). It doesn't "make AK way less likely", just 25% less likely. AND her range is still 45% AK. But back to the flop if she has AK she knows your big PP are weighted towards QQ, JJ (12/18 ~ 66%) which she is 40% against to the river with the wheel draw. Even 30% against if you have KK. So even if she puts you on a hand as strong as kings, AK has PLENTY odds to float. Still incredible you made her think twice about calling river.

A bankroll of 50+ buy-in Kim will call, a bankroll of less than 25 buy-in Kim will fold. One question if you can only bet or raise 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, 125% or 150% of the pot for the whole session which amount would you chose? A lot of players only bet 40% of the pot if they don't have the nut.
