Completely disagree with that Hacivat X description, albeit you are smelling it off the strip. The scent is neither smoky nor spicy to my nose as it's actually quite a basic white floral take that dials back the masculine tones of the original's oakmoss in an attempt to appease the unisex market. To me, it still leans masculine regardless of those changes with the patchouli and the vetiver.

I also do not agree with the claim that Hacivat is more powerful version of Aventus. Powerful? Yes. Aventus? NO! Maybe the opening reminds you of Aventus but then it steers into totally different direction and has zero similarity.

…Givenchy couldn’t distinguish the new release visually from the og ? So fed-up with the nomenclature ie: Intense, Elixir, etc…all such bottles (and i own a few) should be thrown against the wall…the Montblanc Legends are meh and only worth a 30ml for the cute bottles, except the “Night” bottling imo…would love a greatest/poorest sprayers episode !

How disappointing to hear that the new Caron is similar to the original. I found the original to be vile. I do not understand what people see in it. I love lavender but both the 1934 Caron and Lavender Extreme by Tom Ford have the same lavender which makes me gag. Utterly vile.

The reboot of the '90s Bulgari pour Homme was a surprise. The original and Intense (forgot which one I still own😅) always put me in a good mood and reminded me of good times. I'll definitely give the EDP a try at the department store.

I’m from Oneida TN in the mountains east of Nashville and we don’t have anywhere to smell Niche houses except for the mall in Knoxville which is still an hour away. They have just started selling Parfums de Marley and Creed and Mind Games recently. But it really would be kind of a bucket list experience for me to get to go through the class and actually get to experience fragrances that I only get to read about or watch and learn about them through descriptive interpretations like yours. Photo realistic should never EVER be used to describe a fragrance. Photo only refers to VISUAL things. Saying a perfume is photo realistic is like saying you can really taste the color of something, it doesnt make sense.
