Mussels you tasted is a classic Calicut dish. That is how we eat them here in our city with lunch or dinner, ie without the shells.

We , Keralites don't make fish curry with buttermilk or curd. The base for light coloredfish curry is either ground coconut paste or coconut milk. And for sourness in fish curries we add either coccum or tamarind.

Seems like a seafood buffet on a banana leaf. Mr. Kripal’s way of describing n savouring each dish left me hungry. Would like to try the sadhya someday but I wish the vegetable dishes were left alone the way they r usually made without the seafood but perhaps with the exception of the crab rasam. Thank u.
