DANKE SCHÖN. Ich habe noch viele weitere, denen ich folgen kann. Dieses Wochenende beende ich ein napoleonisches Diorama. Wellington in Spanien. Nicht so groß, etwa 1700 Figuren.

I have just started my own collection of civil war soldiers but this just blows me out of the water...I only have about 600 of each side. Awesome diorama!

Everyone starts somewhere. It's only important you enjoy what you are doing. I have a large civil war section in my store, same name as this channel. I recommend checking out the Major Dundee video, there are only 360 figures plus their horses total in that. Terrain and accessories make all the difference I think.

Your site is awesome! Looking to rebuild had almost 2000 Britains and some Conte. Starting over your scale soldiers and Dioramma is 👍👍👍. What is a good site now to buy them in bulk? Thanks.

Thank you Brian. I have 4 more in the works and another 54 planned after that. I do sell & trade. Plus I have had an ebay store since 2004. Very active with Facebook groups in 1/72. 1/72 Legions In Plastic Depot applies to ebay and facebook. I am also on Pinterest and Instagram. You can contact me at legionsinplasticdepot@hotmail.com

how do you get everything scaled correctly?
@thefoodmercenary2 жыл бұрын
Spacing and camera angles overcome any "oddities" in scaling. 1/72 is not well regulated in sizing with some companies. That can be side stepped by keeping obvious sized items with bad proportions away from each other, mostly. Humans and animals come in different sizes so so smaller and larger figures make sense.

This is a very well done diorama, how long did it take you to paint the figures?
@thefoodmercenary3 жыл бұрын
I can knock out around 200-250 ACW figures in a sitting/one day marathon. I approach it assembly line style as if a factory. Most of all keeping them on the sprue and spray painting base colors to speed things up.

I actually am doing Medieval, Roman, ARW, WWII Europe, Pacific and North African theaters, Western Plains Wars, Napoleonic, British India and French Foreign Legion. My original collection was about the same size as yours but when I started selling on Ebay there was no room for 30 years wars & Aztecs, etc. Decisions Decisions, what to keep and what to do. But ACW will always be my favorite subject matter Realmente estoy haciendo teatros medievales, romanos, ARW, WWII Europa, Pacífico y África del Norte, Guerras de las Llanuras Occidentales, Napoleónica, India Británica y Legión Extranjera Francesa.

Thank you. Can you send the link/page? Copy & paste will work. I'm going to post an article on this current build I am immersed in with pictures. I have learned so much in the last few months since I built this one. Galaxy of difference in every aspect. It's been a fun learning curve. This new one is a Gunga Din send off so to speak. I'm clear coating around 240 figures + camels, wagons and artillery for both armies at the moment. 1st time in 33 years I have assembly line painted figures for dioramas so the 1st batch is my get back in rhythm batch. The existing armies are primarily ESCI and taking huge casualties to brittle plastic. Their future after this is dim:)
