Massive 4-day Extremadura adventure! // During a heatwave!

This past August I headed to the depths of Extremadura to spend a few days eating and touring the region. Fun Fact, there was a heatwave while we were there so the days ranged from 39-41 degrees celsius. Nevertheless we based ourselves in Cáceres and then had trips to Trujillo and Alcántara.
There was lots of food and wine, Roman bridges, conquistadors, medieval streets and more wine.

There are two ways to make crumbs, bread and flour. The ones you were taking look like they were made of bread. Personally I like them better with flour, if you tried my mother's you would love them.

I am from Cáceres, well explained. Only missed a tip on Atrio (top notch wine cellar in Spain) and Torre de Sande, its cheap version. Btw, that was not a heatwave, just BAU from june to sept.
