So neat! I’m like you, I love looking at old photographs, greeting cards and postcards. My mother has similar items that my great-grandfather had sent to my great-grandmother, so besides those, I haven’t seen postcards and such this old before. Graphics and English grammar was so different back then. People spoke proper, almost borderline romantic - I love it so much! Thank you for taking the time to show us, Janna! ❤️

Wings is a 1927 American silent war film set during the First World War produced by Lucien Hubbard, directed by William A. Wellman and released by Paramount Pictures. It stars Clara Bow, Charles "Buddy" Rogers and Richard Arlen. Gary Cooper appears in a small role which helped launch his career.

The ephemera collection needs a global audience, NOT for the flea market. The postcards, letters (with stamps), cards, clippings, photographs and books; regardless of condition, have value. The fabric appears to be unfinished quilts. Individual blocks and quilt tops also have value.

I found a copy of how to be a good wife ,or something like that I still have it. It was in my Aunt's stuff it was from early 50's I believe. Anyway it said we are to clean the house up and lay our husbands none working clothes out for him so they would be ready when he got home. Have dinner prepared be dressed up beautifully and greet him at the door when he gets home with the drink he prefers. I read all these details and laughed so stinking hard. But I really think most of the time they deserve it. But if a woman has to work also no. I myself was able to stay home with my kids. 65 years old and I was able to stay home all this time been married since 1974. That was one thing I truly wanted to be able to do.

Clara Bow was the IT girl, she made silents and speaking films The looks like a nice item and if you have time(sure:) some of those year or ledger books may have people in them who, became famous, you never know. I think that was Douglass Fairbanks and Mary Pickford. Those football tickets were 1929, the year of the Crash. That is a razor(single edge, not a shaver,) When I was a young man all the Barbers used those and they were commonly used well in to the 20th century until companies like Gillette invented "safety" razors. Charlie Bird, an awesome Jazz Guitarist, he was one of the best. Find Him on You Tube. Wish I were there to help you research, Cheers, Rik Spector
