This is an amazing collection of a by gone area.Some of these trucks I have seen in my travels back in NZ when I was a seasonal worker travelling around the country in the 80s and nineties .Its nice to see some one has taken the time and effort to restore and collect them all.If I'm ever back in NZ I would love to spend a day looking through this collection.Its a credit to all involved .well done .

Now the ol girl is in my garage In just working to get it running not trying to restore just think I should just keep it as is and just enjoy driving it from time to time with my grandson.Thanks for sharing.

Thank You Robert! I was using my camera gimbal for the first time, still getting use to the tech, it had a mind of it's own sometimes. The 48 Dodge truck sounds sweet. Good idea to just get it running and safe for now, maybe when your grandson grows up some he may want to restore it, that would be a cool family legacy.

Hi Cy, I used to drive one of those BMC trucks, the wee light green one, right hand side of the screen, in front of the petrol ⛽ pump, at 9:41. Now that brought back some really good memories. There was a few brand names I had not seen before too. There is a good mix of British, European & American vehicles there. The next video I post from the visit will be the tractors, bulldozers and stationary hit & miss engines (will post it in about 2 weeks time).

It was hard to stay focused, like a kid in a candy store I was, had to try and see everything. It's a big collection, an easy 2 day visit really. Next time I go there, I will not take the camera so I can just enjoy everything and read more about the history of the vehicles.

I usually take a still camera & that way I get to do all the reading but have photos for future reference. That's one museum I'd dearly like to visit...another add on to the bucket list huh.
