Most foundations in Florida are slabs on grade. In most places in the state, you either can't build underground (due to the elevation being too low and\or water table being too high) or it's ultra expensive to do so (most homes in Florida are built by big box developers and those developers don't want the added expense of a crawlspace or basement).

hi max, love the house, not sure what to do w/ some of the rooms. a lot of house.😕 great lot size & nice neighborhood. alarms & technology leave me feeling apprehensive. don't care much for either feature in the home. makes me feel like i have to study manuals before i can enter the house. anyway, thanks for the tour & as always great info. stay safe & have a great work week.☺✌

It is extremely rare in a neighborhood like this for it to be used for heat. cooking and fireplace are the common uses.

That is area that is not going to be built. It has some moisture and is most likely not conducive to building.
