Very cool. Great board for a hilariously fun game. Playing one-shot is metric tons of fun and even people that don't like tabletop games or dungeon crawlers will have a hard time not having a blast with it. With MD1 we used to make mega-dungeons to slay through combining Black Plague/Green Horde tiles for above ground and MD tiles for below ground

The board looks great! And I love the idea of using 3D lights for the light tiles. Have you played the campaign rules? I really enjoyed Zombicide but always wanted it to have a campaign mode to carry you from one mission to the next so this game seems really up my alley!

I am in the middle of playing the Heavenfall campaign. I will say that I prefer to play the normal version when I am playing with friends just because it is so satisfying to go from zero to hero but if you want the campaign experience, Heavenfall is the way to go.

PSA: You mention in the vid grabbing the update pack for all MD1 monsters "including the KS exclusives". However, there are 2 versions of the the retail Upgrade Pack. The Kickstarter version that does include cards for every single MD1 monster & Hero including KS exclusives. And a retail only Upgrade pack that only has cards for retail released monsters. Most stores will only have the retail version

Thanks for clarifying! Even if it is just retail, that's still a cheap way to add a bunch of variety to the game if people are looking for that.

@@gaminggeek241 For sure. There's also the Black Plague + Green Horde Crossover Pack. If you have everything it's: 77 heroes + 4 Constructs = 81 minis 41 Mobs (6 + 1 minis each for minions and Leader; you can also mix-n-match several BP/GH mob sculpts) = 287 minis 68 Wandering Monsters = 68 minis 13 bosses +1 mini for Cyclops tag team = 14 minis 450 miniatures total in a complete game currently Plus the upcoming Road to Hell Comic will add Heroes and Wandering Monsters for 14 minis (possibly 15?) And the upcoming Iron Maiden Pack will add two Heroes and two Wandering Monsters for 4 more minis Massive game.

Part of me really wants to get massive darkness 2 but I already have so many board games with minis I still have to paint. 😅

Yeah, you have to pick and choose, there are so many options! I have really good, fully painted dungeon crawlers that I've only played once or twice!

Yeah, I purchased that pack and much to my chagrin, it is only for MD1, not the new version so it's worthless for me.

@@gaminggeek241 There is a Zombicide Crossover pack for MD2 as well, and I do think it was KS exclusive. It brings over everything released at retail for both Black Plague, Green Horde and all their retail expansions (including the badass Necromantic Dragon). There's also 2 version of the MD! crossover pack a retail only version, and a KS exclusive everything version that crosses over all expansions, all Kickstarter exclusives, all extras etc... Full MD2 set is around 400 minis

Wow! About how many different contrast paints do you use? There’s a ton of color variation, maybe I’m playing on the backfield but I only have about 5

I have about two dozen of the line from the first wave -- never bought any of the newer colors. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with Army Painter Speedpaints because they are cheaper, but I'm already invested in these and I like the paintpots over droppers for washes and inks.

@@gaminggeek241 AP Speed Paints have pretty much completely replaced all my contrast paints at this point
