Truth to be told it's raining from March itself ..in April it was continuous 24/7 in Dibrugarh and nearby areas then there's an interval for two days then again rain .. now these days like for a week it's still raining at night and morning . Sun shines at around 3 p.m for an hour or two ...

U r wrong my dear friend... Indian govt. doesn't want Northeast rather Northeast is an integral part of India and India doesn't discriminate among its parts and people. Its tough time for Assam but India is with Assam and North East without a bit of doubt. Don't ever think that India doesn't accepts the problems of Northeast. We Indians are family irrespective of region we belong, language we speak, culture we follow, etc etc. And family never leaves one alone in problem....

Those who feel North East to be discriminated or neglected and compare it with western states like Maharashtra, Gujrat, Punjab, Rajasthan or Any of states, pleasd go through the history of north east, ne was always away from Chaos of Invaders and even britishers also never focused here... we all know that the wherever the wars will be more, mass struggle will be more, there all will being the focus or attention of the government or say whole system. Ne is also very difficult terrain, construction of raods, and bridges is difficult. Please do raise voice for your development but do not feel We Indians don't love you. Assam is an plain area as compared to rest of North East state,covered with large hill and mountain,which got lots of perrenial river...north East is known for highest rainfall due to monsoon which is occuring alternativly every 6 month,also due to global warming..deforestation,disturbing mother earth nature..water flow high level to low level hence flood..therefore sud be within Assam state only since level of water and ground is same..Dam is not the solution for this flood adversedly this dam wil create more disaster...
