Massive Hoya Plant Haul! | 30+ Plants!

I went nutzo y'all. But I swear I only have a couple more packages left!! I haven't bought anything this week so that's an accomplishment! lol I hope y'all liked my insane #hoyahaul! I have officially reached over 100 hoya. A lot of people are surprised when they hear that number and think I have more! But nope! I actually also had a sunrise in this haul, but I lost it. I also received a citrina, but it has some sort of infection so I wasn't able to show it! I love all my plants. I love all the places I got my plants from too! I know I promised a "where I buy my hoyas" video, but I'm just not sure if I want to only recommend a certain amount of shops. I'm always trying out new places, but I'm hoping that hearing where I got these hoyas from will help! There are a few places and people that I want to buy hoyas from before making that video so I'm sorry! I hope you enjoyed! Thank you so so so much for watching!

I spent over $100 on the Hoya I wanted with a grand total six leaves. Lol 😂. Then again I don’t go on Hoya hauls, and try to tell people not to spend their money on what they like. Spend until your hearts go out if it’s what you love. Hoyas are the new jewelry. You don’t buy as an investment, but for the sheer beauty and joy it brings.

I stumbled upon this video because im trying to identify plants from hoya haul. 2 things i found out. A LOT of hoyas are from the philippines (where im from) because the names are based on the region theyre from eg. Zambales and Surigao. Cutis porcelana is also a popular filipino description of a person who has complexion like porcelain(flawless) And hoyas in the states are craaaaazy expensive!! I got my 8 hoyas for a total of 40 US dollars!!! They're big ones too! So yeah i found out one of the hoyas i got, a big hoya myrmecopa. It has at least 6 vines 3-4 ft long. Thanks for sharing your collection! Makes it easier for people like me to identify plants. Wish there was a way to share some of my cuttings with you though, since im planning on cleaning up the super long vines on mine.

I agree 1000% about Sun stress the plants I don't like it I feel like it's deviating from the plants natural state if the plant was meant to turn that color it wouldn't need the stress of the sun to do so I feel like a compromises the Integrity of what's a plant naturally should be and does make some species a bit harder to care for or rebound after you stress them

Unfortunately a lot of the newer plants we see in KZbin videos from the US just aren't available in Australia. The Australis Lisa (Which despite being originally Australian, was bred overseas) is commonly over $100, but is coming down. So people get a bit desperate. Unfortunately people often try buying from overseas which is illegal. People swear it's fine due to phyto certificates but it is definitely not allowed.

Wait really? I just bought like 4 rare-ish hoya for ~40€ with shipping. Ebay prices are weird though people are willing to pay so much money for unrooted cuttings even though they could get the same species as a full plant for the same price or less if they just were a little more patient. I think it's the auctions that makes them impulse buy...that and instant gratification.

Hanhiae is probably one of my favourite hoyas of the ones I own. It's such a ridiculously pretty plant. I love it so much. Also it is kinda unfair, because as a German speaker I do have other names that are difficult to pronounce for me, but the way every youtuber reshapes the name heuschkeliana (hoysh-kuh-lee-ana) is kinda funny to me...like it's such a simple name comparend to stuff vanuatuensis (?) for example. 😅
