Great job explaining what the update does. I have a Firestick 4k gen1 that I bought in 2018, and I am still on Fire OS 6.7 after checking for updates. Do you know if you there is a DVR app for the Firestick that you can schedule channels to be recorded? What do you recommend?

When you mentioned you could add third party apps, i thought you meant apps like HDTV, Ola TV, AiryTV, LiveNetTV, etc. i tried syncing sources and those don't cone up.

Think of it this way. It's an integrated feature by the firestick. So the apps that can be included would be those in the amazon app store which are 99% 3rd party apps. There are thousands you could add, but they won't let illegal ones be added. Sorry

It’s possible you haven’t synced it in settings. Eventually it will auto sync unless you messed with the settings

You can customize the channels and apps displayed in your guide by: Going to Settings from the Fire TV home screen. Selecting Live TV or Channel Settings. You can reorder the apps, remove certain sources, or enable/disable the display of particular live TV services or channels. Troubleshooting Check App Compatibility: Not all streaming services may fully integrate with Fire TV's Live TV guide. Ensure your streaming service supports live TV guide integration. Restart the Device: If the guide isn't showing up correctly, restarting the Firestick can sometimes help refresh the setup. Software Update: Make sure your Firestick is running the latest version of software to ensure all features are working properly.

Yes they do. It's not built into the interface like this, but plenty of apps that organize into one guide. You should be able to search the best one. The best android box that does this same thing is the BuzzTV line. They are the best for it and even have a PVR/DVR setup which is pretty awesome. Way better than the shield for this

One fire stick lists sports in the guide but another does not. I check for updates almost daily and repeat the process but no change.

I'm not sure what you mean? I've added every app I've tried to it. You have to go into settings and turn on sync. It was in our setting video we posted

Sync is already on and still only have Prime Video, Tubi, Pluto, Plex, and Xumo Play. My live channel looks like yours except I don’t have Haystack. It isn’t working and I wished you would show exactly how to add an app because nothing loads except what I have already listed. Please try to add Freevee to yours and see if you are successful! I will be watching this space for an answer!

I just added 5 more apps with no problem. If there are duplicate channels they will not show. Example Freevee may have the exact same channels as pluto and so it won't show any. That might explain what you see. Is there a specific channel you want that freevee has that others dont?

@@CuriosityCafeI guess that will have to do. I know there are alot of repeated channels but surely every Freevee channel isn’t duplicated on Pluto. Same with no live channels from Roku I’m guessing😮? I did notice that we can still use the Crackle app on Firestick 👏🏻👏🏻

No tricks. Just make sure you have your stick to auto sync all the apps

So they need to be authorized apps from the amazon app store, and you just have to have auto sync set up in settings. We have a video on firestick settings on the channel. Pretty easy to do. In some cases a firestick restart it required to sync them.
