Another cool episode guys. Walker thank you Soooo much for not blaring the music (like many channels do) good job editing.

Thanks for the kind words! If you look at some of our older videos I definitely had some loud music blaring, so it's been a few years of fine tuning my audio process! - Walker

Pretty cool it really is only thing I noticed when you put the mounting plate for the wood on top the tabs that ran down that really long taper cut they should’ve been angled at the angle that the top pieces were instead of cut Square other than that absolutely amazing

I like the methods you use in your projects they are all well executed and constructed, I do not get why so many wood guys use powder coat for finishes over metal surfaces, marine, automotive, and jet planes use epoxy like imron, awl grip which can be sprayed, repaired and will finish to much higher mirror if desired and will not detach or chip and any color can be mixed. Used by Boeing, Airbus, Kenworth, Mack, Bertram, Donzi. These are tough finishes that are well proven.

I also ran into the arbor problem with the Evolution saws. Diablo Steel Demon D0736CFM has a 20mm arbor that fits and cuts way better than the Evolution Combo blade. Only downside is it's 1/4" smaller in total diameter, but I was able to cut enough steel for a 24ft footbridge with railing on 1 blade. Still sharp.

that is a wild table base. the designer really made you Cats think it out but you were up to it. 25:50 groovy music track. kudos to who at the shop picked it out. very Curtis Mayfield-ish. great bass lines. or if this was American Bandstand.....has a great beat and good rhythm and I can mig weld to it.

I was also wondering what happened to the curved bracing. Was that a design change?

I've tried to Harbor Freight metal cutting blades they last about I don't know 5 10 minutes it just depends on how hard you want and what you're cutting
@ErikOrdway198411 ай бұрын
That blade should be able to cut at a full 1/4" depth. Heck my little battery powered Bosch metal cutting saw does it. I suspect that doing multiple passes limited the ability to get the heat out fast enough. If you did a full depth cut most of the time the blade would be in open air and not surrounded by insulating steel.

What happened to the curved bracing? That thing had a lot of flex once it unbolted, and that was only under it own weight, definitely gonna flex more once that huge slab is put on there

When it comes to those saw blade I've found immense luck in doing anything to reduce vibrations. If you can clamp it a bunch do it. Since I've reduced blade vibrations its been really solid. When I get lazy just a quick cut I find myself needing to replace the blade due to missing carbide teeth. That's no fun especially when those saw blades are 50 bucks.

Wasn't there 3/4" solid rod to be rolled and welded in place to tie the upper supports to the legs?
@LiftArcStudios10 ай бұрын
There was but due to several reasons it was removed, and the table top bolting to both sides will provide more than enough rigidity! - Walker

I prefer Diablo blades. I’ve been using different ones and they all perform very well. Their steel blades are also rated for stainless and I use them for that a fair amount. Oh, and why all the way to May? That seems like a long time for the bank to be waiting. Or is it a new bank building or something that won’t be ready?

At 6:30 you guys reset the plasma cutter? Are you guys just not using the torch lock switch on the torch itself when swapping consumables? I have the 65A sync system, which is just the middle sibling to your 125 sync and it just seems like you're doing an extra step that you shouldn't have to do?
