MASSIVE Mexican Cubera Snapper! Catch Clean Cook!

@brookcristoutdoors and I are in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico fishing with High Tides Fishing charters. Jamy the owner invited Brook and I to stay at the Hacienda Maria Elena an all inclusive fishing lodge! This video is from our first day while deep sea fishing mexico. We head offshore in search of marlin, sailfish, cubera snapper, dorado and more! Then we take our fish back to the fishing lodge where the chef prepares us a traditional Mexican fish in adobo sauce!

Nice fish. Next time you do a catch and cook cut the head and collar off after you take your fillets. Split the head and marinate your favorite way for like an hour then grill/BBQ. You will be amazed. I enjoy it more than the fillets.

I wish you had mentioned just how inexpensive this place is, so I will. A one-week stay at the hotel with food and drinks PLUS 3 days fishing with the guy in the video is $2740, and that includes them picking you up at the airport. I've spent a lot more for a lot less many times.

3 Days fishing June 22-27 2022 with Jamy, Olga & Juan, bucket list complete 9 species this is full on fishing and man did they deliver. Olga is a fish magnet Tuna day 1 Mahi & Snapper day 2 Big eye trevally & rainbow runner plus misc on day 3. This team is excellent they know how and where to get fish and deliver. Ceviche on board just a great adventure.
