In all seriousness great job boys, showed some serious initiative and control in a time of need and landed ya selves a nice healthy male jewfish. its a serious achievement boys and yous should really be proud of it. The skill you boys showed was in comprehendible and exceeded my expectations once again, the team work displayed in this video was well and truly outstanding and showed great adaptive ability as luke was able to manoeuvre between snags and coach allistar through the conditions. the jew put up a mighty fight but it was no match for the lads in the centre console who demolished this beautiful beast. the wind looked amazing and the sun really created a great backdrop for the filming to take place! credit to xav for his pro filming schools and coaching luke when ya NEEDED TO GO! Well done boys Sincerely, Hammerfishin Reviews

Few ball clenching moments, recorded for posterity, best part of the river for Heinz variety action. Love your work lads, and congrats for cracking the metre.

All I can say mate is well done! I go down to the Hopkins all the time catching bream. But haven’t been lucky enough to get a big Jew. I’ve heard about this from the caravan parks about a metre Jewie on 6lb. Couldn’t believe it when I heard it. Can’t believe I found the footage. Good on ya boys !

12lb braid and a rod with more backbone would have been a 10min fight, but every now and again you get one with a ton of get go. We use shore jigging rods and 30lb braid, pull them hard and release them fresh.
