This game... I barely play it but it's something I'm still constantly fascinated by. A couple more years of features, and a subnautica style story mode and it may well become one of my favorite games of all time. It has so much potential to be honestly the most immersive space game really ever, but it's just missing something to keep me interested, an endgame goal really. The day they hire a writer, my heart will skip a few beats.

Interestingly enough there already is a subnautica style story mode but like only 1% of the players have actually played it (based on steam achievements), i remember a youtuber making a video of it and i hear its pretty good. Look up the frostbite scenario. I only wish the game had a proper endgame and better material progression.

they do ? I though the passage blocks fit that role quite well, if anything they seem a bit more like the Alien Isolation vents, to me at least.

I would love a couple of videos, either now or a while in the future as to how this will alter and improve the way you create your colony series, like how this will influence roles of the film team etc. Personally I would be very intrested in that process as well as your method and considerations to developing your film process! The only bummer for me is the “number of clang accidents “ could have ma a few more with different numbers on them or a customizable one that would allowed the number to be change… That one would be a must for all the upcoming video series from Captain Jack. ;p

This DLC is so worth it. Changing all of your access points to the new access panels creates even more immersion in game and changes the look of your builds. Almost as if I'm playing another game

Just to be sure, all functional blocks are included on the update. the pack is extra stuff, mostly decorations.right? but the timer block and the other block in the pack, do they have a version included on the update? or are they exclusive to the pack?

the event controllers need more documentation so it is easier to understand what the different things does. like the activation hotbar and such. Also it is still buggy, i played around with some logic using rotors angles and sometimes it dosen't activate. Something else i miss is an Equal instead of Equal or more/less for angle.

What bothers me is i bought space engineers on xbox and after that (like 1 or 2 years later) i got a pc I cannot install my game on pc through the Microsoft store or Xbox software I wont have my creations on my pc and i will have to buy the game... Again I would love if Microsoft would allow me to install the game on my pc Until then, i have no interest in playing it as i dont use my Xbox as much and i prefer my games on pc

Still no NPC's ingame. Singleplayer is still just you in a total empty solar system. Even random people walking around a trading outpost would bring life to the game. Maybe a bit of dialogue. A story line. Go rescue this person of this rock. Nope, just empty stations, empty ships. First its boring and after a while you get this dreaded feel of loneliness. But hey here are some blocks and a few options mods figured out years ago. four bucks please. I used to be a fan of this game and was really rooting for the studio. Miner wars 2.0
