Got into houseplants when I started nursing school, have almost 100 thriving babies, much of which are now mostly anthurium, hoya (thanks to you I am OBSESSED with those, massive fat hoya leaves and the super dark or elongated anthurium!) and rare epiprimneum! Love your channel!

So, any anthurium purchased specifically for the flower (spathe)? Every youtube seems to be focused on the leaves - long leaves, veining leaves and dark leaves - and that's pretty much it - they all pretty much look alike to me I remember my very first hankered for anthurium back in the days of catalogue sales only - pretty plain leaves but huge "flowers" that were white with beautiful red splotching - would love to get that again but that was from 40 years ago

Do you mean andreanum? They're just not as sought after because the leaves aren't as interesting as other types. People collect plants for all kinds of reasons!
