I think they didn't show off Legends Z-A because of the criticism & online backlash after they showed off Legends Arceus. Sure, people like the game now (perhaps even overrating it to some extent), when it was first revealed, people noticed it was running at like 20 fps & looked as bare bones as possible from a visual perspective. I think they just want to wait until the last possible moment to give themselves more time.

It seems like Legends Z-A was originally supposed to come out November this year. If legends Z-A does come out spring 2025 i wouldnt completly rule out gen 10 holiday 2025, pokemon historically do a generation every 3 years to line up with the anime,TCG,merchandise etc so to completly rule it out would be silly imo.

Pokemon has also done 4 year generation twice so gen 9 could still be 4 years long for gen 10 can come out on the 30th anniversary of the franchise. I don’t see legends z-a coming out in spring but in late or mid 2025 since the next time we get a pokemon presents is in February of 2025.

Exactly. They will definitely do something for the 30th anniversary, but it doesn't have to be Gen 10. Could just be like the 25th anniversary where all there did was make a tribute video showcasing Pokemon's history lol.

@nightwing2032 The last time pokemon has taken a 4 year gap between generational releases was the gap between diamond/pearl to black/white, in the modern pokemon era (X/Y onwards) they've always have had a generation every 3 years.

@@ItApproaches the legends game aren’t spinoff games thro, they are mainline games. They were made by gamefreak which makes the main games. Just like let’s go is also a mainline game remake of Pokemon yellow and not a spin off game like some people still think it is considering Pokemon yellow I believe was turning 20 in 2018 which was the year let’s go came out. And as for bdsp, it’s a mainline remake of a mainline game of Pokemon diamond and pearl by another company. The only spinoff game gamefreak has ever made is Pokemon quest. Gamefreak doesn’t really do any Pokémon spin off usually. Pokemon spinoff games are usually made by other companies. Yea but what better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary for the pokemon franchise then to release the generation 10 games in 2026. As well as having Pokemon legends z-a for either mid or late 2025 for the holidays of 2025. I can see Generation 9 lasting 4 years considering the 30th anniversary is only 2 years away. Just like Pokemon had Gen 4 and Gen 7 for the tenth anniversary in 2006 for diamond and pearl and the 20th anniversary in 2016 for sun and moon.

The reason the codename for Switch 2 is Ounce is because the entire console is streamlined and more efficiant then switch 1. It physically weighs less overall. It is basically the Super Switch Advance. They went with the 2 name in reference to Switch squared or doubled. In reference to everything and for a simple marketing solution.😊 Again i will repeat launch is summer 2025 either July or August

I think the reason why the Gamecube was called dolphin was because the IBM chip and ATI gpu part Flipper (if you know the tv show, is a dolphin) was so good at recreating and simulate water. See games as Super Mario Sunshine and Wave Race: Blue Storm.

In regards to the fact there was a working build of Z-A back in February but we haven't seen gameplay yet, the answer seems blatantly obvious to me. Remember when they first showed gameplay of Arceus? It was ROUGH and they got a lot of negative feed back, mainly with the frame rate problems. Clearly they knew showing gameplay again would result in a similar result so they went the Nintendo route and said we will show it off when it's presentable lol.

I could swear I already heard of something called Pokémon synapse, but pretty long ago. Also I have little doubt that TPC will make sure the next Pokémon gen releases on the old Switch. They need the biggest market and I'm pretty sure it will still be sold for a while as a cheaper entry level console for a younger audience.

OZ = Orbital Z-Axis ???? That is what a 3D Space Mouse uses to seamlessly navigate 3D spaces in the 3D modelling process with an extra amount of tilt. It is hard to describe and you just have to look at how those work. All indications are that Nintendo is going to take their analog sticks to a new level and that is actually feasible.

NX was a codename meaning Nintendo X. X standing in for Switch because... well, code name. OZ is nearly impossible to get a meaning on, especially before the fact. Maybe someone will piece it together in a year or so

Z-A being cross gen makes ZERO logical sense. Gen 10 will likely be Switch 2 only. I suspect them "testing" it for Switch 1 is a precaution. If Switch 2 goes the Wii U route and doesn't explode in sales, then they can fall back and release it on Switch 1, if Switch 2 explodes in sales then they will simply make it a Switch 2 exclusive. I don't see it being on both Switch 1 and Switch 2....

ILCA Haters got to understand that before from software made the souls game. They were kind of a mid Studio not as bad as ilca but most of their game is were good to average ilca has just started out in the games industry. They have time to become good. It wasn’t their fault. Gamefreak was the one who made them do a 1 to 1 remake cause they didn’t want to be outshined with legends Arceus, ILCA even had concept art of what they envisioned but gamefreak wanted to stand out better.
