**Please read** I may have gotten a little bit "caught up" in all the excitement. A measure of my fishing rod, based on the photo of the fish shows that the biggest trout was closer to 41cm than 47cm. LOL I think it was the fact that it fought so much harder than any other trout that I have caught that size that really threw me out. I need to calibrate my eye-ometer. Nice Trout out of a little stream, 42cm is my best rainbow, looked pretty similar size. My 10km radius has just made some Trout possible again, pretty excited to be thinking about fishing again. Feel free to cut as many paths through that Gorse as possible, the less the better in my opinion. Uncomfortably Spikey, invasive weed. Must of been pretty keen to push your way through it, would deter most people I think.
