19:49 --- I'm a toy collector, and I notice a trend with Transformers collectors: they will NOT buy the live action Transformers toys - largely due to how they look, and how the movies did. They mostly go after the 80s toys, or even the re-releases, War of Cybertron, the Netflix series figures. The anime Transformers (Robots in Disguise, Armada, Energy, Cybertron) are hit or miss, depending on who you acquire and how much they're selling on eBay.

+1 for the re releases. I got a transformer vintage style from walmart for around $30. I forgot who it was but he was some sort of cassette player, sold it for $70ish on ebay.

@@lynne99 No they don’t as they see it as a blemish on the franchise due to the designs of the Transformers. Keep in mind - collectors grew up on the 80s cartoons so if they’re not at least close or identifiable, they won’t buy the toys

Look for the bugatti veyrons mystery cars. Treasure Hunts were obvious from the 90s through 2012 until they moved to a small logo on the car. Those Ultra Hots are $15 shipped, which is actually good for that series. Most old Playing Mantis era Johnny Lightnings aren't worth too much but do look for the White Lightnings, which are rare variations. Look for Ferrari Hot Wheels and Japanese Hot Wheels, those are generally worth more than normal hot wheels.

Nice Haul! You will be listing for a long time. Don't overestimate DVDs especially if they are used/viewed. Netflix and the like have really put a dent in that market space. Don't underestimate the Hot Wheels. Some of those can be worth (and sold for!) a ridiculous amount of money. Good luck!

Johnny Lightning is the brand. I used to have a giant collection if die cast and they've all been sold. In the box they are worth more. Treasure hunt hot wheels are also worth more.

As an anime fan, a lot more niche/unpopular/old anime takes a looong time to sell because there just isn't as big of a fanbase. A lot of newer anime are becoming a lot more popular and have huge fanbases and stuff will sell pretty quickly. It definitely sucks for anime resellers (like myself) who buy lots of random anime from Japan and get anime that isn't very popular.

They're not worth crap mate. Just get rid of em anyway you can quick noone wants dvds these days. Why hoard tons of cases and disks when you can stream. Most people wanna watch hd or better Res Most dvds are not that quality so everyone goes to streams or Netflix etc

​@@ItzJigz187 I disagree. I am an avid film collector and many of my favorites are on DVD. For starters not everything is available on streaming services and if it is there is no telling how long it will be on there, I was half-way through a series once and it was removed from the streaming platform before I finished it. I solved the space issue buy picking up a few 260 space DVD folders to store the least valuble and more mass produced sections of my collection, I have about 1000 DVDs in the same space it would take to store a microwave. There are many fantastic films and shows that have not had a Blu-ray or HD release so the only way to see them is on DVD, also there are many that wouldn't even benefit that much from a HD release anyway. You can definitely argue that a vast majority of DVDs are worth little to nothing but there is an opportunity to make money out there for sure.

You said you use Goo Gone to get sticker residue off. I highly recommend Goof Off. Get the household bottle, not the heavy duty stuff. It works WAY better than Goo Gone and it doesnt leave that nasty thick greasy residue that stinks of citrus, yuck!

Good luck selling dvds these days. Not being a dick just letting others know to not invest in dvds. If you can get rid of them good on you. But for most dvds are a massive no no. In England you struggle to sell them at car boots unless it's like 5 for £1

But from my experience, you should always go off the sold items list from ebay to get a better idea of what a good price would be. But I assume since you do this a lot, you have a legitimate reason.
