Dear whoever reads it, I am writing to you out of respect and despair. I have a 2 year old Central Asian Shepherd who is the most beautiful dog I've ever seen. He's been with me for 3 months and everyone in the house loves him. He receives love and returns it. He is totally loyal. A bit stubborn but obedient in the end. But he has a click in his head, he is a murderer. He doesn't growl at dogs, he doesn't bark, he doesn't give warnings. Just sneak up on him or approach him lightly and grab him by the neck. When that happens, don't let him go until he kills him. No matter what I do to him, he won't let him go as long as he's alive. Like a wolf. I can drag him across the concrete, beat him, spray water in his eyes. I put my hands in his mouth and open jaw to pull out the dog. I saved only one of the 4 dogs he caught. He doesn't touch people. But dogs, puppies, cats, birds, if he gets the chance, he will kill them. The community is afraid of him, they are afraid for the children. I am afraid that he will be poisoned. What should I do? Is there a way to talk him out of it? The only dog he has normal interaction with is one female he mated. I can't let him kill anyone else. I'll gladly pay for good advice that doesn't sound like keeping him on a chain for the next 10 years until he dies of old age. Thanks in advance to everyone. My email is: djole.grekoss@yahoo.com

Huge dogs like these need to only be aggressive when there's something life-threatening happening to the household, like riots or violent home invaders. Short of that, they really shouldn't be fighting anything, except maybe the urge to jump through the sprinklers during a warm summer day. We're not in a Mad Max world yet. We're still civilized. I like how at the end kalen tells you he DOESN'T want Kong to fear him, but he still knows who the boss is. I think that's super important to emphasize! Dogs should be led and directed, commanded, taught, but it should be out of mutual respect ,love and loyalty, NOT fear. There are too many owners who get dogs they are not prepared for and then hit them or punish or treat them badly instead of leading and teaching them. This owner was great. The video was really informative and I like how you and the owners can show that corrections shouldnt and DON'T need to be made to hurt or scare the dog. Kongs owner is a responsible (and very nice) guy. He’s always in touch with us, keeping us up to date and regularly chatting with us about kong, his behaviour, and the best ways to continue with Kongs development. We wished more owners were like him. Nothing is too much trouble, from diet, to supplementation to training. He understands the breed that he has, he takes raising Kong seriously and he knows that being the boss with a Boerboel is super important. Kong was a puppy that we did not want to let go, bred from two of our best dogs here in the UK. To see him in these situations acting the way that he does, is a credit to his owner and his lineage. Too many Boerboels, particularly males at this age, just would not be able to be in this situation without there being issues. All other Boerboel owners should really take note of this video. Everyone loves your big dog but when they get rambunctious, they get on you about controlling your dog. They can’t have it both ways, you’re the owner, you are the leader. To heck with what other people think. People always think they are tough when they play with your gentle giant, but the owner knows the quirks and has to be in control at all times. Even if that means hurting someone else’s feelings. Good on this man. He’s a great dog owner. 👍 I would love Beckmann to have a week with my boy free of charge, only because I can’t afford dog training. THAT is the most magnificent dog I have ever seen!!!! I have watched and learnt a great deal from your channel as a 100 pound female and breeds XL American bullies here in Australia and on my own ,I have needed many of you videos not to toughen up as I take no rubbish from my dogs but been a female they feel the need to protect me so the POP works wonders and also I train my puppies before they go to there new homes and after they go with many of what I have learnt on here and I have full control over my dogs thank you David 🙏

Best thing about this channel. No profanity. Respects customers and subscribers. Knows how to communicate and is willing to pass on his knowledge to others. My respect 🫡

This is a prime example of an owner with the right personality for this type of dog. The dog respects his owner. Certain dogs you can get away with not having that type of personality because they are also mild mannered as well. But if you own an A type personality dog and you can't match it with your own that is when the problems start especially if it's a large dog.

Love this video! I think more people need to learn how to be the boss of their dogs. I think people get dogs that don't realize the animals need routine and discipline like children. I love how well this family has cared for Kong. Awesome to see people step up.

This family is amazing! Dog and owners alike. Her "Unhuh, more patting each other on the back. Imma tune this out." Was just that bit extra funny😂. I love big dogs but I know I am too inconsistent to be a better and more responsible dog owner. That means I don't have any dog. Getting a smaller dog is not a compromise for poor dog management skills imo. I just wish more people would figure that out before they get one, not after.
@IIchicgo2 жыл бұрын
Hats off to you. And you can train yourself to be consistent. I personally think, just for your ability of self-reflection, you'd be one hell of a dog-owner. You seem to be real and honest and therefore probably willing to learn. Some might disagree, but I think you should have a dog stay at your house for a while, and if all goes well, get a dog.
@ivechang67202 жыл бұрын
@@IIchicgo Aww, what a nice set of compliments. Thank you! I actually have chronic migraine (24/7/twenty seven plus days a month) and other neurological problems. So I am not really able to give a dog the outside time during daylight hours one really deserves. Currently I'm borrowing my neighbor's dog 🐕 for walks several times a week though. So I'm not entirely dogless! I hope your home is full of love and warmth with plenty of furry cuddles.

I owned a female Boerboel that I trained with hand signals and of course voice commands. She was perfect off leash when I was around. Unfortunately, no one else could control her she went into protection mode. If I was not home she was in charge. I got mine from S.Africa no vaccines and ate goat & chickens really freaked my vet out when I brought her in. I got her in 2009 she passed in 2019. Best dog ever!

The owners of Kong are about their business and handle him very well. You cannot take any chances with such a big dog, and they do well to make sure that he follows their lead and not the other way around. Also, the bass in the owner's voice had me shook lol "Yes sir!"

As a big dog owner myself, im glad to see another good big dog owner. I have four pitbulls, ranging from 90lbs to 190lbs. Not gonna lie. I was starting to have slight doubts about the way i handle my 190lb King Pit, because he is very much the same way as this big boy. And im no where as big as his owner is( im 5'5" and 150lbs)😂. Leverage is the main thing with me when it comes to getting them back under control. I've watched other trainers because i personally dont believe in using just one source. What works with one dog won't nessasarily work on every dog. You are the first ive seen not only acknowledge the owners skills, but also keeping your commenters in check as well.

I have two boxers their father was German. I’ve learned so much with these two . Hen I found your channel, you train what I learned . Cues communication and confidence . Respect your dog teach them with love and correction consistency . Zeus is a bull much larger then his litter mate brother . I’ve always done the time out to reset . It helped me because I had two. It really really makes such a huge difference . They need you to give them structure so they know their roll. I love this channel Thank you for your videos . Now I know who to recommend. Dogs are so smart and communicate a lot . I love how you show that for people to understand .

I was once the proud owner of a Perro de Presa Canario. Taking care of such a huge animal is a major undertaking. As long as I was calm, he was calm, and even when I was agitated he remained by my side. He never lunged, he never broke free of me. He was an amazing animal. He was attacked so many times, verbally by people and physically by other dogs. He provoked fear and awe in equal measure. So it was down to myself to break the ice and prove his worth. And he was always happy to help me by giving me a kiss. Or just sitting and doing as he's told... On an extra note, was beautiful to see that Beorboel without clipped ears and a tail.
