Massive Uppgrade On Tormin - Destroying Speed teams I Raid Shadow Legends

Having given up trying to make Tormin hit hard -- I have much better defense based nukers to use that gear on -- I find Tormin best in full CC builds. I run him in stun and frostbite sets, then focus on damage, and use him against teams with a lot of turn meter increasing champs. Tormin (full frostbite) + Gizmak is a fun combo too, provided your enemy doesn't have polymorph. ;) Good fights tonight. Thanks for sharing.

It seems like Plarium releases champs to counter whatever the current meta was at the time: - Tormin/Hegemon seemed like counters to the speed meta and they can still be used against certain arena teams - UDK was released to counter those single target champs like Georgid/Rotos and even Taras - Armanz was created to give everyone a champ that scares everyone in Live Arena - Marius was created to give everyone a champ that counters mythicals - Ankora/Narses was created to counter shields/strengthen and Tarichika teams

U forgot mythicals that not only generated income since they were doing worse last year but also counter lockout, stoneskin with gismak and give options for revivers and nukers combo like siegfrund and lazarius

Is crushing rend the way to go for tormin? I have 3 star as well and immediately went with sheep

Either cruelty or polymorph. Crushing rend is alot better on hydra than in pvp and purely for dmg if u hsve champions like marius or tormin cruelty is by far best. That being said polymorph is super good and you are building acc on tormin so he can kinda use it wihout 6 star, tho the most meta champs where you would need poly like galathir and krixia will surely resist without 6 star.

ye i think temporal chains can be good too if you are using fast teams, or polymorph if you have 6 star. helicath does alot counterattacks and the a1 and other multihit effects proc it multiple times so its definitely the best one on him for damage.

@@EbinShini thx. Will change it. Was also thinking that temporal chains csn be counter intuitive on helicath afterall. We want enemies to hitnas often as possible when. We have block dmg to allow helicath take advantage of his passive

I have never ever lost an arena fight with Thormin in it on the opposite team. To me, it’s mind-boggling that people use him in arena. I guess I don’t understand it. I honestly hope I never pull him.

The only thing stopping tormin to be the way he was before is stone skin. Tormin was the best for the speed meta. I still use him now and freeze everyone.

Tormin is a situational champ when you run into a team that is likely not to have SS champs nor a champ that puts up block buffs. Example would be Arbiter, Lady Kimi, Shue Zhen, Ronda, Rotos, WuKong, Kymar, Yumeko, Xena. The problem is the higher you go into arena, the more likely that you will run into SS and block buff/cleansers.
