Those Man prime movers are a serious bit of kit, involved with servicing a pair of them when I worked for a main dealer. Two alternators, four batteries , air suspension all round. The communications equipment looked like it could run a medium sized radio station. Interesting that where possible they weren't based in a high risk area. Theory being that in the event of a major incident they were less likely to damaged and therefore able to respond.

Happened couple weeks ago, one woman killed in her home, they never fixed the crane base to any stable ground and the weights weren't even bolted on.... 5:23 is that a police officer in the road? Why did he directed the car to stop there? If the car had moved on a bit it would have been much easier for the fire truck to get through. Fire photos didn't go inside the cordon. If there's a major incident, gravitate towards where the any specialist or rarely-seen vehicles are heading. The truck at about 41s almost has a good warning lighting design: if only the individual lights flashed in an inside to outside bi-lateral symmetry; in synch with the grille and side warning lights; then the observer could easily and quickly identify the vehicle and its direction and rate of movement in a crowded road environment.

I just hope that they know what they are doing, have all the equipment and training that they need. and do not give a toss if they have had diversity etc training. uk has gone to the dogs, no disrespect to the the foot soldiers, but management is too bothered about figures etc, and I worry that the result will be lives lost, both civilian, and firefighters. total respect to the men and women who risk their lives to save ours, but too many jobs worths in the upper levels.
