Meanwhile the entire team is capturing a point, I'm right there at the edge of the map with an enemy support class. Due to us wasting ammo just to kill eachother, we had a small peace treaty and we both walked away back to our spawn. We ended up being friends and played some games together for a year, it's been a long time since I've seen him online. I miss you bro, 2017 was a good year

Whenever I request order, I usually end up seeing the message "you are now squad leader" after about a minute. I assumed it switches to the person requesting orders if the leader isn't doing it, but maybe thats just a coincidence. I make sure there is an order active at all times.

TheDilligan nah that's the same with me bud, I'd join a squad that's half way though a round, I'd request an order once or twice and then bam! "You're now squad leader" so maybe whoever requests, get the armband haha 😂

MassiveG this isn't a hate comment but I suck at bf1 I used to be a cod player. thank you for the tips but I don't think I'll get anywhere since I suck at sniping and don't know how to use gadgets effectively. I would just miss my targets all the time and just not know what the hell I'm doing. I'm not much better with vehicles or with the other classes. God help me

I came from COD as well, the game is vastly diff for sure, but IMO way more enjoyable, I suck but am slowly getting better, it takes time, but you will to, enjoy the process and understand it's gonna take some time

Just a quick perspective from a level 100+ player. Assault is responsible for capturing the flag, killing close quarters defenders & OR tank killer. They’re responsible for going Rambo and giving everything they got, getting down, dirty, in the mix. They will die many times, but take many enemies with them ideally. A good infantryman can lead the charge to a speedy victory. Medic is responsible for backing up assault on the frontline, reviving players if they’re good. They can also play medium range, flanking and picking off players on the objective from a safer distance from enemy defenders. A good medic will be almost like having a cheat code, constantly reviving players, holding the position, and acting as a spawn beacon, all while fending off enemy players. Support is meant to lay down suppressive fire on the highest concentration of troops, for assault players to make their entry on the objective and cover them as they capture the flag, plus top snipers & assault tank killers ammo. Can also move in to capture objective at the right moment. A good machinegunner can mow down a whole platoon before they get far from their spawn if employed correctly. Scout is meant to find a good vantage point and spot players to direct fire for your team, while simultaneously picking off defenders on the objective, or counter sniping/counter machine gunner. Also, a scout can almost double as the assault class if the player is good enough, moving around popping one shot kills close to medium range. A skilled sniper will annoy the daylights out of you, and his skill will be on display. We’ve all had that one motherfucker, who’s address we might’ve attempted to acquire out of rage. But credit card numbers will do too. That’s not the point. You get it guys.

Anybody from MW2 where you did the first training mission and they would constantly say switching to your sidearm is faster than reloading. I remember SGT Foley, Coporal Dunn, and General Shepard saying this so when he said it, it reminded me of it IDK why.

I would like to add is that if you're a medic or a support with a healing/ammo pouch. If you press q on someone who is missing health or ammo, then you will do a tracking toss to them. So instead of just plopping it on the ground in front of you, you throw it all the way to them (which is actually a very considerable distance).

I have played battlefield 1 for a month and I have learned that it’s great to use orders if you don’t talk to anyone, my squad usually is able to tell if I want us to help defend a point or rush a point with another squad, I also learned that assault and medic are my favorite classes

One of the biggest challenges going to BF1 from BF4 was the fact that I've never heard of any of the weapons ever and the starting weapons were either semi auto or seemed to not deal much damage. What hit me the hardest was the lack of my trusty AK5C or M416. Also, I didn't know about the uniform aiming thing. If you're about to start playing BF1, be ready for that.

Semi-new but I love playing medic and my fav so far is the auto loading 8 .25 extended! I use to be big on COD and would never play BF but this game is awesome!! if you are medic or support resupply your team!!! if you plan on attacking alot use the bags, but boxes if you plan on being more defensive. when i play medic i throw the health pack down randomly all the time and you can rack up alot of points!

Smoke grenades are so useful, great for advancing, and hiding in while capping a very busy objective, love throwing smoke in a recon players face watching him run off his little nest and gunning him down
