"Any idiot can make something complex. It takes a real genius to make something simple." I finally get that now after watching this video. Good job Paul, you're a genius! 💡😁

Is it possible to create a page inside a database in coda?
@CodaTricks9 ай бұрын
How do you mean? You can have a canvas cell within a row of a Coda table, and that cell will absolutely function like a regular page, in terms of its content.

It's same but a little different. Notion just called rows pages; a 'page' in a Notion's database is basically a row with properties (columns) and then 'page content' - which is basically equal to the Canvas type column in a Coda table. When you include a Canvas column (it's included by default in all tables that you create, the Notes column), when you open the row in detail mode (i.e. as the modal or side panel or as a fullscreen view) you'll get the similar setup to what you have in Notion: there will be properties in the top and the 'page' below. But the concepts are a little different and you should think of them differently. I think it's actually a good topic to cover in one of my next vids. It's hard to explain it like this in text, this needs examples.
