Training with a current top 300 ATP tennis doubles professional Joshua Paris.
In 6 months Josh has climbed the rankings and has goals of reaching the top 150 in the world this year. He has been trained by Louis Cayer who is one of the most notable doubles coaches in the world and has trained with top 10 doubles tennis pros from GB.
Josh gives 3 key doubles tips to focus on rating them with from the importance level. We also do one of Josh’s favourite doubles volley games. A fun session overall and I hope you guys learn a lot from the video.

Wow, this is one amazing video you made with lots of fantastic ADVANCED doubles tips. I've watched a LOT of doubles videos over the years, but this one has some great tips about the serve, positioning and ball placement (with drills) that I haven't seen in many other videos. Next time out with my wife and son, we're totally going to work on these drills, thx for sharing.

Most rec player serves suck. Few are dominant. Second serves are often sitting ducks. Serving down the T helps because it reduces return angles and basically elimates returns down the line. Net players should alternate between mid box position when being server's partner and starting back of the box, near the T when receiving serves, then moving forward when the serve return passes the opposing net player. Maintaining this up and back movement reduces gaps for opponents to hit into. Also serve placement is key (most rec player also lack this basic skill), but if the server has any directional control, there should be communication as to serve placement. Example, serving wide to the add court against an average right hander opponent will result in a return pulled back cross court about 80% of the time allowing for and easy poach. Sorry, but the "tips" in this video are so overly basic that they are not particularly helpful to anyone except extreme beginners.
