@@VeteranVandal have you ever watch those famous rhythm tutorial taught by Africans on KZbin? They start with sth simple, and all of a sudden you can't understand what's going on anymore. It's in their culture. before east meets west, Africa's music is mainly rhythm based with a little bit of melody. Those complex rhythms that we know nowadays are the result of black people (africans) moving to America & Europe and White people moving to Africa and start mixing complex harmonies with complex rhythm.
@VeteranVandal
@VeteranVandal 2 жыл бұрын
@@onimekyo7633 actually not really. Where can I see one of those? Africa, for good and bad reasons, has been out of the whole digitalization of music, which has been good for music in the continent since internationally popular music is just so so bad - not like the great African originated music, like Jazz and Blues. KZbin has been great for rediscovering some of those music.

JRY_ HRN good question, this class had a few girls who liked to constantly talk and laugh at people during tutorials. I don’t know why. It was very annoying and disruptive. He did very well and I’m surprised I got the whole video of his performance! Also, this is an educated class full of musicians and music teachers, so following the Levels, you can hear and analyse the changes in rhythm, like a game.
