MASTER DUEL finally dropped and I've been playing it pretty much nonstop since it released. Determined to get to the top of the ladder, it finally happened and here we are.
This is basically my random overall thoughts with some gameplay. I haven't had much time to think a video out cause I've spent so much time just playing the game lmao.

Master Duel is actually pretty good. I do hope they add best of three in the future. As for decks, I am building Dragunity. I have my extra deck and most of my main deck complete. Just missing a few hand traps.

I'm playing Fluffals since Maxx "C" is at 3. I just love going 2nd, throwing down maxx "c" and waiting for my opponent to basically kill himself by me drawing multiple cards or ending his turn and then going for OTK. It's just amazing! Plus the animations when you summon something big (like a giant stomping on the ground and everything else around him is "jumping" up by the impact) is pure satisfaction, especially in fluffal since you often summon 3-4 big monsters in 1 turn.

I'm loving Master Duel. Really great game with an easy track to competitive decks. Currently rocking my dino deck on ranked :) The only thing I would like to see in the game is alternate formats (Goat, Edison, etc.). Maybe as special events? Not too sure. Honestly, any Master Duel content would be cool to see. One idea is deck building challenges based on certain secret packs or low rarity versions of decks.

@@Maki-Roll The main basis of the deck is having the searchers (Miscellaneousaurus and Souleating Oviraptor, which is at 2 in Master Duel), enough baby dinos to pop with card effects to get more bodies (babycerasaurus and petiteranodon), and the boss monster (Ultimate Conductor Tyranno) which can either be summoned off of it's effect or using a searchable Animadorned Archosaur to get Double Evolution Pill to banish a dino and a random hand trap. Honestly Master Duel was perfect for me since I’ve always been a fan of Yugioh but never knew how to really play. And while it’s not the greatest, Megalith has carried me all the way to gold and I intend to take it to platinum, one painstaking game at a time.

I've been playing Ancient Gears mostly. Honestly its done a lot better than I thought, beating decks like tri brigade and skystriker every now and then. Definitely worth checking out.

I like Master Duels already. An old Yu-Gi-Oh fan that stopped playing after the XYZ era. It was confusing at first, but the tutorial helped me understanding what the hell are Pendulum and Link monsters. So far, using my old Toon deck with a few adjustments and also Traptrix, which my friend recommended me. Stuck on Gold so far, but fun nonetheless (except that one time against a Dragon Link deck that took more than 5 minutes in the first turn and had Imperial Order so I literally can't do anything). For a challenge, I thought of making a deck using one of the structure decks given. However, if you lose, you have to change one of the cards inside it into other cards and it cannot be used again. Idk, it sounds weird lol.

Master duel has been a blessing. With no locals in my area. I have all these meta ready decks to play and no ome to play with. An a dedicated Ranked mode has become a hobby saver. I was losing hope in my future of playing but that may have been restored

The game is really good but it needs to keep things fresh. Alternative formats, events, best of 3 mode in addition to best of 1 so you can choose which one do you want to play, improving the solo mode and so on

i think master duel is realy good and im having a blast, its the first yugioh game i played competitive. i am playing stun eldlich because its realy easy to learn and can still beat most other decks.

TBH, Master Duel surprised me a lot in terms of F2P experience. I got a Eldlich and a dryton deck without spending a single buck. Not expecting that comes from Konami

You will also be surprised how little gems you will get after youre done with all Solo content and with the one-time-only daily login which you get as a new player.

Love that final match. Can feel you on the D1 grinds dude. Kings Fall and Wrath of the Machine grinds, then D2 with Last Wish and Scourge of the Past before I fell out of it.

As someone who hasn't played the TCG competitively since Monarchs and whose only knowledge of comp Yu-Gi-Oh! is watching From Scratch, I've actually been having a lot of fun, as a fairly small content creator it's given me some great new content for my stream! I'm currently attempting to pilot Invoked Shaddoll and having a great time!

My friends and I have been using it to play against each other. I dare not touch the ladder as the decks I run are definitely not made for climbing ranks (elemental hero, Kuriboh tribal and familer possessed) but it’s been a blast to play with friends.

Ive been playing it since the start and as a complete F2P player I built zoo tri-brigade and virtual world with three maxx c and three crossout designator and two called by. So I really enjoy that I was able to still build meta without spending money and the banlist is suprisingly balenced due to there being so many broken decks that everything cancels out

I was very pleasantly surprised with master duel. Its very refreshing not having to spend money to progress in a free to play game, much less a card game. Especially my favorite card game! I managed to get a salamangreat engine going from only 31 booster packs and reassembling the few cards I didn't get. Which sounds like a lot, but its only about 1/3 of what gets thrown at you after a couple of hours of playing.

The game is pretty great honestly. I myself have made Lunalight as a first deck and it hits extremely hard. I do love the opportunities for deck building this game gives from scratch. Now for example I try to make a Plunder Patrol deck and still have the resources. It would be nice adding more options though, Best out Of 3 in ranked, Side Decking and would also be rad to tie new cards to events while giving also an option to get them via a secret pack on store! Overall pretty good,hope updates make it even better!

Sadly my game gets stuck when i either create a new deck or edit and already existing one. It just stops working therefore making me unable to use a different deck than the starter and structure ones. I tried everything but it still won't allow me to edit a deck, sadge.

I think that masterduel is really good. Ranked hasn't got off to the best of starts seeing as I tried to get to a high rank with 3 of the utopia structure deck, but now my Cyber Dragons are almost finished so hopefully they provide a bit more enjoyment to ranked.

The music in this game is SO good it's insane. Currently building Phantom Knights. Wanted to build it in the TCG for a while but since their isn't any tournaments in my city rn it's kinda pointless. So Master Duel it is.

Ive really enjoyed master duels so far as a f2p player ive made pure shaddolls and rokket syncron as decks and as well beginning to build a tri brigade core. But am enjoying gold rank atm idk if i will push to plat but probably can do so. Ive enjoyed having access to any matter of deck as a f2p player if you plan out your deck its really nice.

I have a few different decks I've built. Dinosaurs which I have the main deck finished but could do with some rank 4 monsters, too bad most of the good rank 4's are Ultra Rares. Tri-Brigade Lyrilusc which has been the deck I have been playing the most since it's cheap to build while still being good. Also Virtual World which I haven't played yet but I also decided to build since it's cheap.

I’m currently playing Heroes because well it’s always been my main deck. Also, I think a way to fix the whole siding thing is just separating a ranked mode best 2 out of 3 and a casual mode which will be best of one. Also they should seperate TCG and OCG so you can play under a specific one

Master Duel is a lot fun. I'm Attempting to make a Dragon Link deck, but have no idea how to make one lol. I have most of the cards for it but something's wrong with Dragon Link deck, I just don't know what that is. lol. Hopefully soon I figure out how to make a decent Dragon Link deck so I can go into Ranked.

Idk if anyone else has mentioned this, but don't let Konami's love bombing fool you. Once they cut you off the free gems, you're expected to buy, and if you need a lot of high rarity stuff, it will cost you dearly. That being said, craft Maxx C, even if you don't know what that card does.

Though I was surprised that Dragonmaids could go that far considering it's not performing so well in the TCG (and that last player you fought against was awful), and that's the Deck I'm currently playing As for the content, definitely Master Duel from Scratch, because I value the experience itself rather than simply seeing one winning their games

I quit yugioh during TeleDAD and made a brief return for Dragon Rulers. Now im playing Code Talkers and doing 10 minute combos that end with my opponent just quitting from boredom. 😀 my how this game has changed since Dragon Rulers.
