Just got two or maybe three Quick questions here. 1. Is there any other way to play around Maxx C that does not involve Snake-Eye Ash ? Considering that Ash is the Main combo piece in order to circumnavigate Maxx C, either negating its effects or simply not drawing it would put you an absolutely Bad position, since you either just have to then give your opponent a lot of cards or skip your turn. 2. How important is Hiita and how important is Dharc? Both for the Deck itself and the current MD format. The Deck needs quite a bit Extra Deck space so putting in other cards becomes really hard. Keeping only the Essentials around would be, well Essential. 3. Why is Snake-Eye Ash unlimited in the TCG and Semi in the OCG but limited in MD? If they do actually put a ban on it I feel like it would almost kill the entire Deck or at least put it at a fraction of its power. The video btw was amazing. I made a new Acc to be able to make the Deck and been practicing for a couple of days now. Totally understand why people hate this Deck but I cant deny that its also a lot of fun flooding the Board and handing out negates like Santa hands out presents on christmas.

I don't know about Dharc but Hita is great in the format. If your opponent has Ash blossom or any fire monster in grave, summoning Hita makes sure that you can go into link 3 princess which makes sure you can go into the link 4 fire (amblowhale? Something like that) Hita in this format is just an amazing extender that allows you to at times play through ash blossom or just take a fire from opponent's grave if needed. Regarding the banlist, all three formats - MD, TCG and OCG - have gone through different approaches to hit the deck. OCG tried to hit the consistency via semi limits but that didn't work too well because the deck is still very consistent on top of having the fire king stuff. MD probably saw that OCG semi limits weren't enough so went with semi then limit to try again with the consistency approach. TCG tried to hit the ceiling of the deck by banning stuff like Barrone, Savage and Link Kuriboh but left the main deck components untouched. This proved to be not that effective as the deck moved to different payoffs and still remained tier 0. Now I think OCG and TCG will get their ban lists soon so maybe we will see more concrete hits to the deck.

1. I put some other under maxx c combo there besides ash, -if you start with diabelstar or poplar, you can summon ponix instead of ash when activating sinful spoil, and just do the 1 card ponix combo, that give at least 2 cards draw to our opponent 2. hiita is a must, not only you can use opponent's ash blossom to link up to princess, but its also one of the link 2 fire monsters that are very easy to summon beside knightmare phoenix dharc is not necessary but would help againts dark deck 3. look at what they done to tearlament, they ban 1 of their fusion summoner, so they can only fusion summon twice instead of three times in a turn, it kills the deck at the time they announced it, but recover because of some other new cards that indirectly supports them

I thank both of you very much for your detailed and very helpful responses. In conclusion I will keep Hiita in the Deck, abandoning Dharc in the process though. Adding in the Horus-Engine it allows for some really good plays and bring out counters to Nib or Ash early. Which Rank 8's will be taken remains open. Orcust is a lot on my mind since he has a one-time removal and can prevent the destruction of my own monsters through Garunix wipe but I wonder how often that will actually come to play. I do see now why Ash will probably get banned, though your comment gave me hope that one day a replacement for Ash will arrive. On the Note of Tearlaments, would you say in terms of versatility that this Deck can compete with Tearlemnts pre-ban or is Tear still on top ?

Is it really necessary to run Garunix Eternity? I haven’t gotten it yet, but I can definitely add it in to my extra deck when I’m able to. I can’t play High Avatar Garunix because I haven’t gotten that card, but I do have Ulcanix ready for that in the future. Great guide also nice inclusion of a possible future proof deck list for whenever this deck gets hit. Seeing how it’s now the top meta pick, it’s bound to get some cards hit eventually.

Lets say you have 3 diabelstar, which is a UR card..if someday konami decide to limit diabelstar to 2 cards only..you can dismantle 1 diabelstar for full 30 UR TICKET instead of 10..but only 1 of the 3 cards, means you actually trade 1 of diabelstar for another 1 UR card you wanted This also works if you only have 1 diabelstar

If you have a hard time playing combo deck..you can try other deck that are simple and still strong in the meta like trap deck labrynth or dinomorphia
